This is the second one of these I’ve purchased. I am a gigging musician and I think these are good stands. I’ve had the first one overloaded for quite some time, and never had any problems. The base is stable, and the bar at the top will hold quite a bit of lights. I have attached lights, hanging below and, attached above and had no issues. The bar is securely attached with the tightening of the thumb screw and it’s never moved or come lose. I’m sure there are more expensive options, but these are all I’ve ever needed.

It is light weight. Says it supports 50 lbs but I would not test it. That being said I use lightweight LED lights that work great with this stand. It does wobble a bit while extended if your moving it or have a light that has a motor such as a moving head. If that is the case I would not recommend but if you just have some Par cans or a smaller motor like those cheap red and green lasers this is priced right and will do the job no problem. You can flip the bolts and hang lights above or below (or both). A big thumbs up for what it is.

Nice, inexpensive, and lightweight. One of them shipped with a busted knob, but it still works. Takes a few adjustments to get the lights mounted in a way that works best. I wound up replacing the small washers with larger 1" washers from the hardware store. Although I appreciate the sentiment of all black hardware, nuts, bolts, wingnuts, washers, etc. I've already donated a few small pieces to dark venue floors. So at least the hardware store pieces are visible when dropped!Otherwise not a bad comprimise for $25

Wow! I was very amazed at the high quality of this light stand. It made the stand for my cannon lights look like a tin can joke. I got this light stand way faster than I expected! My only complaint is I wish the top light bar was a little bit wider to allow for more room for the lights. But I have been able to make it work. Works great! I was so impressed that I have now ordered another one.

Stand works great for my purposes. I'm using it for 4 LED Par lights to function as stage lighting for small DJ and band gigs. Everything with the stand appears sturdy, and all of the included hardware was in good condition. All of the adjusting knobs were tight and functioned well.I expect to get a couple years' use out of this stand barring any damage down to it as a result of movement or abuse.

reason why it didnt get 5 stars because the top bar where the lights go does not stay still i have no idea if its supposed to be that way but other then that great stand

So i received my stand yesterday morning and i was very satisfied with the product. I gave it a five stars because of the price and the quality of the product. Stand dose weigh about 50 lbs and you can detach and fold it like a stand should. It go's up about 8-9 feet high and maybe a little highter. I like this product a lot. I think ama order anther one soon. The price, well you cant beat it for a good product, because its a steal. I am a very satisfied costomer. The only reason I gave this a bad rating is because it arrived with a broken nob. Pretty inconvenient and hoping they resolve this quickly.Otherwise, It seems like a sturdy light stand. Maybe the should make the nobs metal too.
