Haoge make really nice lens hoods and complement the Fujifilm f2 lenses perfectly. The only slight downside of this particular style of hood is it has a bit of play when it’s on the lens - unlike their other design of square hoods that fit perfectly.

Less than one year in use, the hood part that provides the shade, has rotated in inner barrel that provides the locking mechanism in the lens.This results that the wider part of the hood after locking in in the lens, instead of being in the horizontal position as shown in the pictures, it's now in a vertical position and narrower part it's now on top.Now hopping the seller is available for a replacement.

$40 is expensive for a lens hood - almost on par with Fujifilm's first-party offerings. The fact that I was 1. sent a lens hood that had clearly already been opened (they couldn't even remove the broken plastic seal from the packaging, lol) and 2. that the lens hood rattled significantly when mounted is inexcusable. Quite a bummer because the XF50 f/2 has a distinct lack of bayonet hoods, but I won't be bothering to get another one of these.

Fits entirely too tightly and risks ruining the threads on your lens. Stay away.

These are well made metallic hoods and fit my Fujinon lens perfectly. I like the square look and they do offer some functionality and add to the overall look of the camera package. I buy them for all of my Fuji lens!

This lens hood looks fantastic but unlike other lens hoods i have from Haoge this one and the LH-X35 rattle when at the locked position on the lenses which is disappointing. Otherwise the hood seems solid.

Another great lens hood in the Haoge bayonet square metal lens hood collection with the Haoge LH-X50 for the Fujifilm XF 50mm f2 lens. This one is even better built with the mount surrounding itself being all metal. It's built beautifully, has a great finish and is beautiful to behold on the Fujifilm system. Haoge now has a complete lineup for the small Fujifilm primes: 16mm f2.8, 23mm f2, 35mm f2, and the 50mm f2. You can even purchase separately an all-metal lens cap from Haoge that fits tightly on all four hoods. Highly recommended!
