A mattblack groove structure prevents inner reflections and the elastic material provides good protection against jolts. Beware what you are putting this on, related to the "normal lens hood" for the lens from the manufacturer. Like, for a Nikon 16-50mm Z lens, this hood is WAY too long/deep. It is the same thread size, and same shape, and the diameter at the end is the same, but in length, way different. I had to cut the entire flat part at the end off to not have this vignette at 16mm. If you put this on with no modification, you WILL see this hood in your images up to about 22mm. So, for the Nikon 16-50mm lens, this is NOT the one to buy.

Este parasol te permite poder quitar y poner la tapa del objetivo, ya que al ir roscado interiormente, si fuera otro material como el anterior que tenía, no permitía esta posibilidad. Lo recomiendo totalmente para este objetivo.

For being a rubber lens hood I thought it would be made from some cheap hard rubber that would crack easy. This rubber lens hood is made of good high quality soft flexible rubber that I believe will not crack anytime soon. Is it a good product? Yes. I am not dissatisfied at all but instead very pleased.

Ich benutze eine 46er Gummiblende auf einem 25mm Objektiv an meiner APS-C Kamera (Cropfaktor 1,5). Die Kombination funktioniert gerade noch ohne Vignettierung. Drückt man den Blendenrand einige Millimeter an den Bildecken nach innen, beginnt eine Abschattung sichtbar zu werden.

I did not want to spend money on original Olympus hood and I wanted flexible hood so when I started searching for rubber hoods this one showed up. B+W brand needs no introduction so I did not hesitate.
