I should have been more careful reading this product description for two reasons:1. This hood is for the new version of the 23mm lens. It is not, as I thought, a new hood for the old version of the 23mm lens . . .2. I'm really bummed because the hood is so well crafted and designed and I really really wanted it to fit my lens!But it is a very good hood, and given the shallow nature of it, more for looks and protection of the lens than any amount of light that it blocks, but those were the reasons I liked it anyway.So now, I either have to get a new hood, or buy the new version of the lens to match the hood I have. Probably going to do the latter . . . after I ask my wife's permission.

I love the looks of these square hoods and for the price Haoge provides the best bang for your buck. I have the 23mm f1.4 paired with a x-t5 and it looks great together and works comparable to the fuji branded hoods. Easy to put on, and stayed on tightly, I never worried about it falling off by accident.
