This lens wide angle lens hood attached to my lens (or filter) smoothly and easily. Works as described and causes no vignetting even at 18mm (as wide as my lens goes). And it comes with a lens cap that is designed to fit this wide (82mm) hood. Well worth the price!

You can only zoom out so far before you have the edges in your photo. Not worth the buy.

When my Zeiss f2 28 lens hood broke (the spring lock that pinch the inner circumference went back) I looked for a replacement. This hood is really nice - no vignetting caused on the Zeiss lens - though it tapers wider than the Zeiss lens, using an included 82mm lens cap if you want to mount the hood and cap it that way for storage. A good buy at this price point.

IWith the lens shade I had, I used to get very noticeable vignetting when I zoomed out to 18mm. That was fine when I wanted a vignette effect, but a real pain the rest of the time. I got this hood and a 52-58mm step-up ring, and voilà, problem solved!
