The price was pretty good (approximately $1 USD per) for this type of bit, and at 1/8" it fits into a rotary tool collet. As it turns out, these are of a better-than-disposable quality. The bit (while it does show some heat fatigue) is still sharp after use, and I expect can be used at least a few more times. For best results, go slowly and route using a straight edged guide. * Caveat - I only used this on a medium density fiber board so I cannot speak as to the cutting speed, accuracy, or durability when used with a very hard wood, but for my purposes this bit worked very well and did not leave a chewed up or crumbled edge. Using the same tool/bit to clean things up left a very flush cut *. If this bit had a guide bearing, it could easily compete at a higher price point.
