First cut in fir and the carbide blade chipped. Not happy with this bit at all and I waited to long to use it and I can't return it as I'm over the 30 day window. I will not buy cmt bits again.

We also use this bit for planing large width boards. It is a great tool to match our Bosch and Porter Cable routers.

We are using these mortising router bits to machine aluminum. They consistently stand up well in a industrial production environment.

I'd buy this bit again. It lets me do some cool things with a smaller guide bushing - like undercuts/bit keyholes.
