Wanted something that wasn't battery powered and has a small footprint and this fits the bill. Sounds good and does the job, powers my S12 Pros and HD560's easily.

Bought on sale for $60 but probably worth it at full price. Great product, drives my Sundara and HD6XX effortlessly.

Realy like this dac amp. 1st time purchaser for any kind of dac amp, I recommend this highly! Got replacement cord , i did not need to but got recommended by friend i should, for connecting dac amp to my s22plus cell phone. The s9pro really woke up my sennheiser hd599 headphones ,looking forward to trying balanced planar headphones & iem in future. Also got the Zero 2 iem's with this dac amp purchase and they also sound awesome. Realy looking forward to what else i can try with this S9 pro! Running amazon hd music. Everything works great no problems right out of box. Cord i got was 100watt 20gbsec transfer speed , alot thicker cable than stalk one. Do not need to replace cable to connect dac amp to cell, but im glad i got a new one.

This is a pretty decent dongle DAC, but there is a problem with playback that the manufacturer has never fixed. When you start playback, the first split second is cut off. I can reproduce this issue 100% of the time on Windows, Linux, and Android. If you go to the sound configuration on either Windows or Linux and test the front left and right speakers, a melody or the channel name plays back. On both operating systems, the beginning of the playback gets cut off.On Android, when playback is started, again the very beginning split second is cut off.

This appears to be a very high quality unit. My main question is "What the heck is the clear, plastic clippy thing for?". Good directions also would be welcome.

Just hooked it up to my laptop, replacing a monolith model, a Sabaj, and a dragonfly black.. Instantly adapted no startup needed, noticeable improvement in all ranges, tighter deeper bass, luscious mids and an airy and twinkly high end. Puts all my other DAC's to shame. the specs are great but I'm most impressed with the sound quality and clarity. Got on sale and I coudn't be happier with the product. the cables appear to be a bit frail but should hold up ok. Using this in my HK/Klipsch/ Elite setup and the main feature is the outstanding qualty fo such a good price. did I mention that the imaging was spectacular?

What a difference this little DAC has on the music I steam from Qobuz—all for the better. I have it connected to my iPad to my headphones.

Great DAC, quiet, lots of detail. Unfortunately, with iPhone 12 and 13 Pro the sound breaks up/drops out at high volumes on the balanced outputs, and occasionally on the single-end outputs as well. No such issues with my Macbook Air. When I expressed concern to the manufacturer that I might have a bad unit, they asked me to send them a video of the audio problem. As if I was making this issue up for lack of something to do? I'm a little frustrated.

I have been testing this with a few IEM's including the Moondrop Aria's shown in the image and some Austrian Audio Hi-X55's. The only source I am using is my mobile phone, a Poco X3.I have been playing locally stored FLAC files upto 24/192 as well as Tidal MQA files via USB Audio Player Pro and Amazon HD streaming. Audio player pro gets around Android limitations and plays the files without limitation. This was proved when playing the same 24/192 file from it and Powerplayer with the indicator LED turning blue with USB audio player.Firstly the only issue for me is that it does drain my phone's battery faster than other DAC's I own. However it is definitely the best sounding. It opens up the soundstage, delivering well balanced bass, mids and treble. I have also played the Tidal MQA tracks from my phone through my desktop DAC to my HiFi but I prefer the sound of this one.

Great DAC, almost state of the art measurements for balanced output. I could not wait when they include EQ into that product (I need EQ to follow Harman curve)

Is crazy what amps this size can do nowadays, this little thing is so powerful that it could replace my desktop amp. The sound coming from it is detailed, flat and analytical but highly musical and not boring at all. If you are looking for a tiny amp for portability with great power, non built in battery, balanced and unbalanced connections and excellent measurements this is it. It drives my Sundara, Sennheiser HD660S, Sennheiser HD560S and Phillips SHP9500 on the single ended connector to very loud volume levels, borderline of uncomfortable. Now for the bad, the device itself gets 5 stars from me. However the included type c to type c cable is trash, one of the sides is loose in all my devices, like it is not making good contact so no music comes through. Luckily I had my iPad's pro type c cable, otherwise I would've had to wait for either a replacement or shell out extra for a type c cable. Second the included type c adapter to USB also is trash. I only used it once to connect to one of my laptops and when unplugging it the metal cover stayed inside the port, luckily I was able to pull it out. So in conclusion the dac itself is amazing with great quality, however the included cable and adapter are trash. I was going to reach out to support to get a replacement on this but it is not worth it for me. All of my devices have type c and if I ever need a type c to usb adapter, I'll just buy one here which will most likely have way better quality, plus the replacement cables might be as bad. So keep in mind this is a great device however the cables are nowhere near the quality of it. If you read reviews on this and the previous S9 you will see it is a common complain.
