I hate trying to cook with vague, imprecise amounts so a good set of scales is important to me, especially for baking. These feel a little light and plasticky but so far have worked really well, and the small size makes it easy to stow the scales away after use. I don't have a massively accurate way to calibrate them but they weigh within a couple of grams of the other two sets of scales in the house and weighing a measured quantity of water produces the correct mass (although of course that depends on the accuracy of my measuring jug). I liked the overall plain slab-like appearance, which is also easy to keep clean with a quick wipe. The scales take a second or two to 'calibrate' when first switched on but after that measurements come up quickly and precisely, and they seem less fussy about perfectly flat surfaces than my old kitchen scales which sometimes don't like my slightly textured worktop surfaces. The display is bright and easy to read, and the scales are straightforward to operate, with just an on/off/tare button and a unit button. The buttons are touch sensitive but respond quickly and accurately to presses. The scales use 3 AAA batteries which were included with the unit. Fantastic value for the price.

Good kitchen scale. I mostly use this for measuring coffee beans for my aeropress as some mention weight by ounces or grams. Easy way to make sure I get the perfect cup.Also this comes with batteries

📢 MON BESOIN INITIAL : mon ancienne balance de cuisine a plus de 10 ans et commence à montrer des signes de faiblesse (l’écran reste parfois figé), il était temps de prendre une autre balance en back up.👍 CE QUE J’AI AIME : les progrès faits en 10 ans! Pour une bouchée de pain, cette balance est encore plus sobre que la précédente, clairement plus légère, plus compacte, et fonctionne comme toutes les balances de ce types. Un bouton quasi invisible à droite pour faire la tare, un bouton à gauche pour changer les unités (g, ml, kg, mesure anglo saxonne). Et le même bouton en appui prolongé permet d’éteindre l’appareil. L’affichage est très clair.👎 CE QUE JE N’AI PAS AIME : n/a🪧 CONCLUSION : essayée et adoptée! C’est l’ancienne balance que j’ai remisée :-)

Die Waage wird meine alte, mechanische Küchenwaage ersetzen. Der Wertebereich bis 10 Kilo und eine Genauigkeit bis auf 1g hinunter ist der auch weit überlegen.Angeschaltet skaliert sich die Waage "auf 0", legt man eine Schüssel hinein kann man den An-Knopf noch mal drücken, damit die Waage das Schüsselgewicht berücksichtig und erneut "auf 0" einstellt, damit man dann Mehl, Kartoffeln, was auch immer wiegen kann.Das Design ist schlicht und einfach, die Wiegeelektronik von Kunststoff umhüllt. Zwei Knöpfe zu Ein- bzw. Ausschalten sowie ein Knopf zum Umschalten verschiedener Gewichte sind dezent zurückhaltend links und recht vom "unsichtbaren" Display angebracht - erst wenn die Waage an ist und die Gewichtsanzeige leuchtet, sieht man das Display.Ich habe keine Möglichkeit, die Eich-Genauigkeit exakt zu überprüfen, wenn ich aber ein paar Testwiegungen z.B. von Wasserflaschen oder Dingen des täglichen Bedarfs mache, sieht das alles sehr gut aus - ob die Genauigkeit reicht, einen Brief ggf. als 2 g zu schwer für das aktuelle Porto zu erkennen, kann ich halt nicht prüfen - ich könnte es mir aber gut vorstellen.Betrieben wird die Waage über 3 kleine AAA-Batterien, hier lässt sich ggf. also mal auf Akkus umsteigen. Wie lange die Batterien halten, kann ich natürlich noch nicht beurteilen.FAZIT:Für 10 EUR ist das alles, was ich im Haushalt als "Küchen"-Waage erwarte und sogar noch mehr, daher gibt es volle 5 Sterne.

I ordered and received the Homebuds 22lb/10kg Digital Food Scale in High Precision 0.1oz/1g. This scale comes in stealth black. At first glance all you see is a black rectangle. You have to look closer to see the two buttons that power the scale, set the tare and set the measurement unit of weight. That could be a positive or a negative depending on how good your eyes are! The scale is powered by 3 AAA batteries. You have to remove the plastic tab preventing them from being used in transit. The battery compartment opens easily without any tools which is a nice feature. I like having a digital scale that is accurate. It is wonderful for cooking, especially for baking where precision is important. The tare function is very useful so that you no longer have to do math to know exactly how much you have added to your bowl. You can change the unit of measurement on the fly. This scale doubles as a precision scale for shipping items.

I need a reasonably precise scale so that I can weigh coffee beans before grinding for my morning pot of coffee. I'm usually doing this around 4:30 AM, and so I need a scale that doesn't require a great deal of mental power at that hour.This scale is perfect for me. It only has two buttons, and it doesn't require that you memorize a bunch of button combinations to get it to work. One button turns it on and off with a long press, and acts to tare with a short tap. The other button scrolls through the various available units. The LED screen is plenty large and bright.While I would much prefer a scale that is USB rechargeable, the manufacturer does include three AAA batteries, so you can begin to use it immediately.All in all, a really great scale at a great price.Highly Recommended!

I like this digital scale a lot. It has a good capacity.The scale includes batteries, which is nice. The LED is easy to read and the surface is easy to clean. It has a green light to indicate stability. The scale is compact and thin, making it easy to store. However, the buttons feel a little cheap. Also, it is not rechargeable, which is a minor inconvenience.

For the price (under $10 as I write this), this is a fantastic kitchen scale. It's small without being so small that you can't put a full size plate on it to weigh something, looks nice, and is easy to use. I especially like the green light that lights up when the weight is stable and the reading is correct, which isn't a feature I've seen before.The accuracy seems good: testing it against other scales I have, it's always within 1%. The scale is also a bit faster to react than my normal kitchen scale, which is handy when measuring ingredients.My one issue is a common one for scales like this: if you're slowly adding a light ingredient (say, trying to measure a few grams of salt accurately), the scale will never move off of zero. I suspect the software is trying to cancel sensor drift due to things like changing temperatures, but cancels too much instead. That seems to be a very common problem with this type of inexpensive scale, so I won't knock off a star.

This is a very thin and lightweight kitchen scale. As it is flat, it easily slides into a drawer or upright against the backsplash. The tare function allows correct measurements when a cup/bowl/container is needed to contain the food product.The display is easy to read and easy to change functions. I have a more sturdy scale that I generally use, but this will be great to use in my travel trailer for the compact size!

Seems I'm always weighing something, so I wanted an extra kitchen scale. There's a lot to like about this scale.0.1 oz / 1 gram increments.22 pound capacity.2 gram minimum.Accurate. I tested it with calibration weights. It was spot on with weights of 10 grams and higher. +/- about 1 gram, when weighing calibration weights of 5 grams or less.Comes with 3 AAA batteries installed.Easy to read LED displayEasy to clean, smooth surface.Hygienic. Has no seams that food or dirt can get stuck in.Rubber non-slip feet on the bottom.2 buttons. On/Off/Tare button, and a Units button. Hold On/Off to turn off. Tap it to turn on or tare. Units button cycles through grams, kg, oz, lb oz, and ml's, with each press.The buttons are very responsive to the touch.Has a little green light, telling you when it's stable and ready.Doesn't make any beeping sounds.Compact. Has a 6.1" x 7.6" footprint.Thin. Only 0.6" wide. Easy to store in a kitchen drawer.Great Value.Only con is that it's not rechargeable.Overall, I like this scale a lot. I'll be using it for portioning fish food on a daily basis.
