Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked it because it weighs to the tenth of a gram. Also like that you can use batteries or USB-C. The buttons are responsive and obvious.Accuracy:Tenth of a gram

I bought this scale to replace another. The one I was replacing was working just fine, it just was not as precise as I would like and the display frequently was hidden when I placed a mixing bowl or other container on it. This scale is much more precise giving readings in fractions of a gram and the display is offset so that it is easy to see even with a large bowl on the platform. It also offers 9 different measurement units although I typically only use ounces and grams. Finally, it is rechargeable so I don't have to mess with batteries. I have had it for nearly 5 months and it gets used a minimum of once per day when I make coffee plus more when I'm baking or other cooking and it has yet to need recharging beyond the first time when it arrived. I highly recommend this scale!!

I like this scale because it reads down to the tenth. But the batteries only last about 3 days with daily use. When not in use it seems to drain the batteries. I use rechargeable batteries, but it's very annoying. I will probably be looking for a different scale.

one thing that is questionable about this scale there are times that have gone to use it and the power it up and it wouldn't power up like the battery was dead so I would plug it in and it would work and then it would work from there on. then I'd go to use it again and same issue but other than that I'm cool with this thing this thing is great this just might be a flaw from my scale

Avoid the slick-looking single-surface scales. They measure weight with sensors in their feet, which makes them terribly inconsistent when the surface they sit on isn't perfectly flat and level. This platform-on-top design may not look as modern, but is much more functional and provides more consistent results.Tested by weighing various combinations of coins. Both by themselves, and tared with a 2+ pound weight. Results were not absolutely perfect, but consistent and accurate within +/- 0.1 grams error. Even with the extra weight. That's more than good enough for kitchen and coffee purposes, and better than any other scale I've seen in this price range. If you're looking to measure gold or diamonds... what are you even doing here, stop being cheap and go spend some real money.The fact that it's both USB rechargeable and supports AAA batteries is a nice bonus.The "buttons" are touch sensors, sealed under the plastic display cover. Great for spill resistance. But no haptic feedback (you can't feel a click or even a button), contrary to description.The single usability downside is that it's a bit slow to react. It does react, even to small changes. But there's a noticeable delay. Like it wants to hold its current value and hesitates to move. I've made no attempt to measure it, but it feels longer with smaller changes. Maybe up to 0.5 seconds for large changes, and just north of a second for really small changes. Doesn't bother me but some people might get annoyed by it.

This is a nice little scale that does what it is supposed to do.Pros:-Affordable-Easy to read-Easy to operate-Able to take up to 5kg, which is great if you need to use it with a portafilter (you guessed it, I use it for my espresso)-Easy to clean-Can be charged by the usb port-Looks good!-Precise and consistent out of the box.-Perfect to weigh espresso. It can be too thick to put under a grouphead, though. I use the gaggia classic pro, and it helps me a lot to get consistent shots!Cons:- Feels a bit flimsy, but it is to be expected at that price point. Just don't drop it!I have been using it for a few weeks and still no complaints! I will edit in a few months if anything changes. I hope this review has been useful to you!UPDATE june 2022 : Still no complaints! Works like a charm, holds the charge very well. It is also very consistent. Very good buy !
