POWER: The kitchen scale need 3 AA batteries. Or you can use the adapter in the package to get long-term power supply for digital food scale. The scale will be auto-shut-off after 10 minutes idleness.
TURN ON/OFF:When the digital kitchen scale is power off ,Press the button to turn on the kitchen scales digital weight. When baking scale is power on, press the button to tare, and hold on the press the button for a while to turn off the kitchen scales.
TARE FUNCTION:When you place a dish on the food scales or want to weigh a new items but don’t want to take the things you weighed before off , this function can make the kitchen food scale go back to zero.
UNITS:The large food scale has three units: gram and oz. You can press the “UNIT” button to on the baker‘s scale change units.
PCS FUNCTION:Hold on the “UNIT” button for a while, then the “pcs” will twinkle and “PC 10”will show on the screen of large kitchen scale. The 10 means you should put 10 items you want to count on the commercial food scale (or you can continue press the button to choose “20” “50”,”100”), then press the “TURN ON/OFF” button. After that you can put all items you want to count on the digital baking scale, the data on the screen is the number of these items.
BAKER’S PERCENTAGE: Place the bowl on the weighing platform and press [TARE]. Add the first ingredient (flour) to the bowl.Once the 100% flour is established hold [UNIT] button for a while. Then the display will show “%” at the The bottom of the screen and “100” in the middle of the screen.Now unload the flour - 0% will appear on the display.Add the next ingredient - the % will go up accordingly until the desired %.Unload the ingredient and start the next one (repeat until you have all you ingredients weighed).Press [TARE] to clear the reading.

I love this scale so much! I use it multiple times a day for measuring everything with my sourdough recipes. It’s so quick and you don’t have to push the buttons hard at all to get it to switch off or switch from grams to ounces etc. it was worth the $40 some that I paid and is much better than the cheaper kitchen scale I was using. I know this product will last me a very long home. So happy with my purchase. Thank you!

A very easy to use scale to use even when weighing ingredients in a large bowl. One charging seems to last a long time. While I have a micro gram scale for very small measures, this unit seems to be sensitive enough that I'd use it for those small amounts if I didn't have access to a micro scale.

The first scale I have had where I did not need glasses to read the units....... Plenty big enough even for an oldy like me....... as accurate as I need.......and good value for money.Nice scale

This scale works well enough more than half of the time. My biggest issue is its poor quality construction; the face is a sticky piece of plastic with coils beneath it to engage the on-off and unit functions. It would be fine if the sticker holding it on there stuck on and the coils beneath had a more secure position. The botton face detaches. The button themselves don't engage/disengage and sometimes will reset while in the middle of measuring. It's very inconvenient if you had to take a mixing bowl to measure, and now you're halfway through measuring. One positive is that I've become much more organized with my baking notes and have all my container measurements to avoid slips with this. If it weren't for the face issue, this would be a great scale. The function of measuring as a part of a formula is fantastic.

The problem with this scale is that that display stays on and flashes constantly if you leave in plugged in, and the screen keeps peeling off no matter what you do. I'm going to try gluing mine, but i really suggest buying a scale that doesn't self destruct every night just by sitting on the counter. I think otherwise it's a nice scale. It's really accurate, and that I can confirm with my calibration weights. I like the adjustable feet and bubble level, too, and the bakers percentage mode is interesting. I could see it being especially useful for reverse engineering a recipe. Again, I can't recommend it, though. As much as I would actually like to.

I bought this scale to replace my Ozeri Scale since I wanted a larger surface to weigh on, a clearer way to read the digital screen and be able weigh in half grams. This scale seemed to fit the bill so I picked it up when they had it at $40.I should have returned it the moment I opened the box. This is NOT a quality built scale. It seems flimsy compared to the $10 Ozeri. The digital display overlay has come unglued several times and will give me different readings up to +/-1.5 grams when weighing the same item.Another thing that I dislike are the non-tactile inputs/buttons. I literally have lightly brushed my finger against the taré and messed up my measurements unknowingly.I’m going to try to return this scale and get my money back.Cheaply made, inaccurate and overpriced!

I wanted a a bigger sized more accurate scale than the one I had, but not huge and heavy, still storable/hide-able. I was VERY pleased at first glance, the size was PERFECT! I also wanted one I could plug in (battery was give or take), but now I’m glad there was a battery option because the adapter that was provided is the wrong one and leaves a little “o” endlessly trailing across the screen rendering the scale inoperable. The batteries gave the option to see if it functions at all. IT DOES!!! I don’t have precise weights to fully calibrate it, but it passed my water test from 5-30g. I am excited to use it in the “real world” for all of our baking needs! We do everything in grams so I love that it turns on immediately to that unit. I don’t care that it doesn’t have kilos or lbs, but it only uses oz (which we’ll never use) OR GRAMS!!! I MAY UPGRADE MY RATING IF THE COMPANY GETS BACK TO ME AND CORRECTS THE WRONG ADAPTER ISSUE, or once we actually use it as we do several times a week. I really wanted the plug in feature 😢!
