Doxie Q2 features a simplex Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) that turns your documents into multi-page, searchable PDFs. If you have double-sided documents, simply flip the stack over and scan the other side. Doxie’s app makes it easy to interleave the two sides with a single click.
How to set up and scan
It’s easy to get started once you get Doxie Q2 — activate the battery with the tab under the battery door, charge Doxie for the first time, then turn on Doxie and start scanning. See the Quick Start Guide in the box for more information. For regular plain paper sheets and stacks, open Doxie’s Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), insert paper face down, and use the paper guides. For photos, narrow receipts, cards, and fragile items, use Doxie’s Direct Feed slot on the back.

This is a great portable scanner, I have a larger one but this works on the spot when you need it and they have helpful and friendly customer service. Recommend.

Does exactly what it says it'll do for the most part, and the quality for the size of the device is great―much better than Brother and Epson counterparts.However, the description describes features that the standalone device does not have, and that you need the PC/Mac software for:- It lacks the "staple" feature that allows you to convert single sided scans or multi-page PDFs to duplex or to group multiple images/PDFs into a single PDF.- It does not scan to PNG like the advertisement says, the desktop app allows you to CONVERT to PNG when transferring from the device to your PC/Mac.I also ran into the problem where it seems the Webhook feature (confirmed by support to not be an officially released feature at this time) does not appear to support modern Let's Encrypt certificates, so it will not work unless you use HTTP or a certificate with different root CAs.
