first of all, the "bonus" scoreboard cutter is rubbish, the blade doesn't even poke out of the piece of plastic far enough, it was a poorly made piece that shouldn't have passed inspection. it's just a piece of plastic void of any use. The actual trimmer i wish i could return but have completely destroyed the packaging getting the trimmer out. The blade is so cheap and dull that none of my cuts are clean. they all look like i ripped my paper rather than cut it. You know when you were a kid and would fold a piece of paper, then lick the edge, fold it the other way and do it again back and forth then rip it apart so that it would be a straight rip, but be all fuzzy on the edge? yeah that's what this trimmer does. Very cheap cuts that look like tears, with the fibers of the paper sticking out. Seriously circuit? you do realize that you are the company that makes machines and software for intricate and professional paper crafts and projects. you do realize that the consumer buying this product is probably using it for that purpose? professional looking products? i have never even heard of a trimmer of any brand that has created their product for reasons that doesn't require a clean cut, scissor cut looking quality to say the least, cut right? that's the whole reason people buy this product of any brand. to make nice clean straight line cuts. if i wanted bad cuts i would have used scissors and got lines that weren't straight, or folded, licked, then folded and teared if i wanted the fiber of the paper to stick out, not to mention the thin edge that turns white and tips the paper of the design because the blade is so dull that it had to pull the edges of the paper to get all that fiber to stick out on the sides.

I really enjoy using this slicer! I love how you just insert your paper and then run the razor slicer right through! I prefer this way more than lifting anything to slice the paper (especially a heavy slicer)! It cuts the paper perfectly for me most the time. If it does not, that is because I forgot to snap the ruler shut before I slice. Also, I have noticed when trying to slice two papers at a time, it's harder to do, if even possible. The paper jammed up where it began to slice. But for me this is no problem, since I slice one paper at a time.If you need this paper cutter just for slicing one paper at a time, it's a little gem! And even makes paper cutting so fun and artsy, I think!Update:Actually you can slice more than one slice at a time. I wouldn't slice that many tho at once.

It's a good buy for anyone just starting to make cards.I've been using mine for a year and it's on a new Cricut blade. The new blade doesn't seem to cut as good as the original. The groove on is base is plastic and collect's fibres and results in tearing so I make sure its clear every time before using. I've had to use a fine marker on the inches and cm as I could hardly see them.I looked for the correct way to use a trimmer on Youtube and found this very helpful as it says push the blade across the card to get a clean cut.Mine came with a scoring blade and I've used it on every card as its better than my scoring board.I now use it to cut down A4 then switch to my small guillotine to mat and layer. For this but price I've had my moneys' worth. I will buy a better one when this one breaks but for now as long as it works I will carry on using it.

Sencilla de usar. Práctica para cosas de casa. Corta papel hoja por hoja. Quizá las profesionales tengan más estabilidad. Precio correcto para el producto que es.

This is the beat paper cutter I have ever had and I love the compact size. We have 3 at work that get stuck and often create a jagged cut, so I brought this one in from home and it did the trick. And I got a really good deal on it too. When I bought it, it was on sale for under $5. I imagine it would have some trouble with cutting much thicker paper, it is not a heavy duty paper cutter, but it is a great value for what i paid

I purchased this trimmer at the end of October. I have been using it DAILY to cut printer paper in halves when I print 2 invoices per page for my store. My initial reaction when I received the trimmer: the blade is super tiny and doesn't look like it could really cut much. The trimmer itself felt cheap and flimsy. (I was comparing it to my old paper cutter CARL DC-100 that cost a lot more, loved it, but broke)However, after using it for 2.5 months, it gets the job done. I cut 5-9 sheets at a time and it always comes out nice & clean. I like the swing ruler a lot and it easily folds back into place. For the price, you can't expect that much more. I was apprehensive at first but after using it this long and having no issues, I am very happy with my purchase.

I make cards and wedding stationery and although I have a silhouette cameo which cuts everything I sometimes just need to trim or score some card and this does the job every time. Worth a lot more than £6.99 just for the fact that it works !!!

I first got a cricut trimmer 4 years ago.. It was great, back when the blade was gray... I have been doing crops at home now so needed to get a few more for my guest to not have to share or schlep trimmers ... I tried a few other stores and got a few trimmers that now have the brown blade. SO HORRIBLE... rough cuts, scrapes the picture and dents the card stock. I bought from amazon because they still depicted the gray blade... Don't be fooled it's the brown one... What happened to the quality of the cricut trimmer? So disappointed and haven't the time to bother to send it back. I am now trying to cut my pictures image side down and hope I don't goof them up, the rough cut is hit or miss so I have to distress the edges when it's really bad. Buyer beware!

I bought it for it has reasonable reviews online. And the price is great.I am not using it to cutting thick paper stacks, but only to cut out customized post cards. So it works well for cutting out postcards with straight and sharp edges. The design only allows one postcard at a time. The only problem I found is that when my fresh printout got smeared by the plastic handle of the knife when the printouts were close to the cutting edge. I could not find a way to avoid this except put the picture side facing down. It makes the mark less obvious.

I bought this paper cutter to do some wedding DIY stuff - escort cards, programs, etc. I've been mostly pleased with it. The ruler functionality is great and it is pretty easy to make straight cuts. Sometimes the blade does not cut cleanly. When this happens, I have to clean the paper dust from around the blade. I will probably need a replacement blade soon. The trimmer can cut through regular paper and cover stock. I was even getting two pieces of cover stock done at a time. The scoring blade also works well. I used it to make my folds in the programs and escort cards. Much more accurate than messing with a bone folder. My only complaint is that sometimes the track the blade/scorer run in shifts slightly because it is just made of plastic and I end up with slightly uneven cuts/scores. My solution around this is to hold the plastic track very firmly while cutting/scoring.All in all, I would say that this trimmer was a good value for the money and it's getting the job done.
