The scorer works ok but the straight blade doesn’t cut a smooth line. With card stock it doesn’t cut through paper on the first cut and cut line is seldom straight.

This is not an easy tool to use. The wheel is hard to turn. The cutters do not like to come off the wheel to cut. The cutters have to have a LOT of force to cut all the way through the paper (not a little like the instructions state) The paper guide does not lift, you have to feed the paper through it but then your paper bends if it catches on the cut pad. I thought this would be a useful tool but it is more of a pain in the butt than anything.

This paper cutter has a whole bunch of different designs it is capable of. Several different scalloped edges, a straight line, even a dotted line. As someone who has a hard time keeping the paper and scissors straight for whatever reason, I’ve been really liking this little device. It makes my cuts look professional and pretty. I made some DIY business cards, and this cutter allowed me to make them look really good. I have also used it for crafts and cards, it adds a very nice touch with little effort. It is pretty long so it will hold a larger size of paper if needed. I used it for standard 8.5x11 sheets and it worked great. I can see teachers getting a massive amount of use out of this. I’m just using it casually for crafts and little things here and there and I have been surprised at how many times I’ve used it. It has been a real improvement. I don’t have to fuss with scissors trying to get a straight line until the object is cut down to 1/3 the size I meant for it to be, because I just line it up against the guides here, cut once and it’s perfect.
