Your cart is empty.The Ultralight Pack Wrench and compatible inserts are designed to provide a bike tool solution that is compact and lightweight enough to carry with you on the road but still be durable enough for everyday use. The aluminum wrench has magnets that hold the nickel-plated steel inserts in place. The wrench has splines for bottom brackets and centerlock rotors and the four included inserts cover most common bike applications.
The Ultralight Chain Whip is strong enough to be your go to chain whip, but light enough that you won't need to leave it at home when on the move.
The Ultralight Pack Tool range includes:
- Pack Wrench: ultralight 1" hex and bottom bracket wrench
- Chain Whip: 8-12 speed cassette compatible
- Cinch and ISIS Spline Wrench Insert: older ISIS bottom brackets or the Race Face Cinch direct mount chainring system
- Hyperglide Cassette Lock Ring Wrench Insert: cassette lockrings and some Centerlock rotor lockrings
- 8mm Hex Wrench Insert: pedal removal and other 8mm hex applications
- 16mm Hex Wrench Insert: Race Face Cinch aluminum spindle bolts, frame pivots, and other 16mm hex applications
All inserts are made in the USA and CNC machined from hardened steel with electroless nickel plating.

Works as part of the travel tool set. Plan to use with pedals which I need to remove and reinstall in order to use my travel bag.

For long back country trips where you need the right tools to remain self sufficient, this is a great tool to have. Lighter than any other BB/hub wrench you'll find, you can buy different adapters depending on what gear you have. Weighs next to nothing, but will be critical if there's a breakdown. Another clever tool from Wolftooth.

Bought these to try and build an ultralight tool kit for traveling and minimizing my overall displacement. I don't feel there is any sacrifice when using this tool. It performs as good if not better that Park or Pedros. At only a few ounces it can't be beat. It may be a couple dollars more than the standard tool but to me is worth it. You can always save a little buy using a regular wrench or ratchet instead of the WT BB/insert wrench.

An excellent cassette wrench, that also fits over rear axles to tighten CL rings, which is the main reason I bought this one in particular.I haven't tried it with their pack wrench, but it works fine with a 1" socket, same as I used with the Park version.
