Buy this one. It fits perfectly. The splines are the right depth and width.

Not meant for commercial use, but for the occasional use, it’s perfect. I used a handful of times and have had no issues.

This bottom bracket tool beats the park tool one hands down. This one is made of stronger metal, much better and less sloppy fit, and a stabilizing bar to prevent the tool from twisting. This SHOULD be able to get the absolutely massacred bottom bracket (thanks to the park tool one) off my girlfriends bike

While the socket itself seems ok for quality, I was not able to get the splines to fit in my bottom bracket on an Opus Intrude 3. Maybe if you filed them down them might fit but thats not something I would want to spend time doing...

This is the bottom bracket removal tool you need, especially if you have stubborn bolts. Pretty typical for the drive side bolt to be almost impossible to remove. This locks into place without needing improvisational solutions like bolts and washers to hold it in place. You can place it on the bolt and torque away to your heart's content. What a great feeling for that bolt to finally loosen and you can get on with your maintenance and repair.

Great fit and felt very secure when applying leverage to remove the old bottom bracket. Good price.

I had purchased a "professional" BB removal tool which literally disintegrated when I tried to remove the ceased, non-driver side of my bottom bracket ring (see attached image). Most BB rings have very shallow notches to begin with, and I had a hard time gripping the ring using the so-called, "professional" one - which costs twice as much, I might add... I do my own bike repairs and needed a dependable BB removal tool that actually works without having to use my local bike repair shop, so I took a chance and purchased this one because it is 100% steel (won't fall apart no matter how ceased the BB rings are).I was amazed how great it latched onto the notches without slipping off, and with one hard crank using an extension bar, it worked! I was finally able to remove my BB ring and continue with replacing the BB.I highly recommend this tool if you do your own bike repairs/maintenance, and you cannot beat the price and quality.

Check a bottom bracket type page or video from Park Tools. I measured the width and teeth of my mountain bike's bottom bracket and took a guess that this one would fit.You really need to have a long, 1/2" breaker bar to use this properly. I was able to get the non-drive side off with a 3/8", but the drive side required penetrating oil and someone standing on the breaker bar as I pulled. It can be somewhat awkward because the place where the breaker bar and the tool connect is far from the bottom bracket and messes with the leverage.

The part for 1/2 inch drive is too short. Axle sticks through and can't get breaker bar to attach
