This is a great light for videos. There are many levels for the brightness with the ability to change the color temperature (well all colors too). The battery life has not been an issue and has not let me down yet. In my mind this product has the trifecta I was looking for; battery life, portability, and versatile mounting options.

Let me start by saying that for its size it is a bright light. Inside it will light up a room with any color you want. The app in easy to use and responds well. The controls for anything other than white or basic colors takes a bit to learn. I just go to the app if I want something special. I have tried to use the light outside at night and found that it does not go the distance that I would like it to, but that was in a dark back road. I you just do not have enough light and your subject is not to far from you, trust me this little light can do a lot. It feels good in the hand even for being a plastic case. Not afraid it will break if I drop it(but still would bug me to scratch it up). I have used this with my Go Pro and my phone. Having the app to control the colors and brightness of the light is my favorite feature. I don't always need to use at full power so I get very good battery life. Yes I would recommend getting one if you are thinking about it.

La luz es difusa y alcanza perfectamente a iluminar una gopro y un fisheye a 3 mts. La función igualar luz es maravillosa. No pesa y no ocupa mucho lugar para transportarla.

This is my third light from Weeylite. The first one was good, but the second one was able to use the app. I could see in the app that you're able to sync 6 lights together, which allows you to select the exact RBG profile for each light. So I added this light so that I can use more than one at a time. And also, for the size, the brightness is really good.The app allows you to do various things, but the thing that I find most useful is to be able to select the color from the environment to match the lighting. This is really a great innovation.I also really like how light and portable these are, but I do hope that they release in the future is a bigger light. These pocket ones are nice, but I do wish I had a bigger light that I could use with the app.

Let me start out with saying that I am overall happy with this purchase.The amount of modes it has for lighting options is amazing, and this is all from selecting through the LED screen thats on the light. Speaking of the screen, I can't explain how all lights that are this format should have it, even if it's just for knowing battery life and brightness. On top of having a screen, the light also has access to an App that I haven't even gotten a chance to play with. With amount of features this thing has the price alone is worth it for that.The brightness on it and extremely good. From the lowest setting to the max its exactly what I would accept and expect out of something this size. The battery life seems to be on point to what is mentioned by the company. I haven't full got to test out the battery on it but with the little time I have with it, definitely seems to be on par with what to expect.The overall build quality does feel better than other lights I have purchased in the past but its still not perfect. I prefer an aluminum body where this feels like it is plastic. But even that being said its definitely better than a lot of other plastic ones that I have tried.It comes with a charging cable, a short one but better than nothing. It is USB-C to USB-A so your standard cable. Also comes with a cold shoe adapter (I can never remember if that's the correct terminology for that adapter). A quick manual and the light of course.One other plus that I like about it is that it comes in multiple color options. I personally got the blue/teal one but the fact you have other options is great.If you are wondering, "if you are so happy, how come you don't give it 5 stars?" well because I don't give anything the full score. A full score means it's perfect, and there hasn't been one product that I have had that I could say it was perfect. But knowing that, this is an extremely good product that I would easily recommend to any friends or family that might be doing some kind of photography or video work.

Let's be honest; as a video shooter, you end up accumulating plenty of these small lights. I've tried a few from multiple manufacturers and I keep coming back to Weeylite. I love love LOVE what their lights offer, and the s05 does not disappoint. I happened to receive this light the same day I had a shoot and used it immediately as a hair/rim light for my talking head shoot. It had a wider than expected throw (in a good way) due to it's curved diffuser and matched super nicely with my key. No weird tints- very accurate light color and quality. Weeylite's wireless app works flawlessly as usual- with a more intuitive interface than even the more established lighting companies making similar fixtures.In short, this light is small, super versatile and a great option as a kicker. It's plasticy, sure, but it's also under fifty bucks!!! And I do appreciate how light this thing is. And the physical buttons??? Come on, what's not to love?!
