This little light is perfect for lighting my miniature figurines. I can bring the light source close and choose one of many colors it offers. It's great for both my main light or back light. The one cool thing about it is that it's not too heavy and you can mount it on your camera or in my case a camera and a slider. The effects you can get from this portable light is endless. There is a little learning curve, but once you figure out how to use it you can let your imagination run wild. So happy to have this in my camera bag.

This is a very cool light, no question about it. There is a small display on the top of the light that is used to select the mode, and it can be a little bit confusing to use, but with enough button presses, you can usually find what you're looking for. There are several RGB settings, and some settings that will strobe for cool effects, and you can set the delay. This light is double sided; one side being RGBW and one side being tunable white. Then there are some settings which display shapes like hearts or smiley faces... no idea what I would use that for just yet, but we'll see where my creativity takes me. It has a cold shoe mount as well as magnets on the side.... it's a lot; more than I will ever use.That being said, it's a decent light for accent lighting in photography or video. It's not incredibly bright, so it wouldn't be used as a primary light, but it works well to add some backlighting. The battery lasts for quite a while, and it's pretty fun to play with. It's definitely a light with so many functions that it's difficult to give it a real purpose, but it's cool to have in your camera bag. For that reason I recommend it. If you need something more serious, or are looking for direct lighting for vlogging or more serious photography and don't have the time to be goofing off finding the right color or intensity, then I would go with a higher end light.
