Made thick with good strength to twist wire of certain gauges. Small enough to fit in any pocket and does the job. It does take a couple of times to get the use down but once you know which way to turn and which hole to use it becomes very useful without too much effort. I found I didn't need pliers any more for fixing fences around the property It makes a great gift for farmers or Ranchers who have big properties and chain link ore wire fences they need to fix or mend. I wish I would have known about this tool sooner.

This is a handy tool and even as a newbie to twisted wire, it works well- much better than pliers. But it comes with ZERO instructions. You have to just figure out what to do with it. I was surprised that it actually isn't too hard to figure out BUT I'm still not convinced I'm using it the best way. I can get it to work and it works pretty well but who knows if it could actually work better. As other reviewers stated, it also struggles to make extremely tight twists. It is good for most functions but maybe not best tool for every twisting job.Price is fair for the utility it can provide. I think it's a cool tool and I would recommend

This is a very useful tool if you’re doing any work with T-posts. It’s much easier to use than a screwdriver and pliers (which is what I used previously). The orange (not red as advertised) handle is great for those times when you drop the tool in tall grass or weeds - don’t ask me how I know this… The price is very reasonable and it’s well made.

This basic tool was fairly easy to use. It seems of a good quality. Putting up fence posts is not my favorite thing to do and this tool does make it easier. I also like to use a good pair of lineman cutters. Hopefully putting up a fence will help to keep the dogs outside. Does not come with instructions but seems pretty straight forward.

I don’t install fencing often, so I am very slow installing the Fence Clips to attach the wire to the T-Post.This groword Fence Wire Twisting Tool attaches the T-post Clips to the T-Post very easily. It took me a couple of clips before I had the action down , but even while experimenting , it was easier than Fencing Pliers.I’ll keep this tool handy for other jobs that also require twisting wire.

When I got this, I was looking for a sturdier tool that would provide more leverage than my current tool. I wasn't sure what to make of the hinged end when I saw it. As it turns out, that hinged end works very well. Unfortunately, the overall tool was larger than I expected for my 4"x2" fence no-climb fabric. There were no directions and I thought that when I would try to figure out the hinged end, it would not be obvious. Not so, once I got the wire engaged and tried it, I was surprised by how intuitively it worked. My only real issue with this is that it doesn't seem to be designed to make a really tight and neat wrap on the wire. My far simpler tool, designed for a 4"x2" fence, makes a super tight wrap that I simply couldn't manage with this tool. I don't think practice would help, and with my old tool, very little practice was needed to get the really tight wraps that some people will be looking for.

I'm building a three acre grid horse fence and this tool is just fantastic! It takes a tenth of the effort than using fence pliers and it doesn't hurt at all and is super fast. I highly recommend this to anyone who installs barbed wire with t-posts, if you are building a fence on t-posts this is the best tool on the market, great value for money!
