This tool does exactly what it's supposed to, it is easy to use, the pin remover that comes with it is an added bonus and was a huge help with a few of my doors. The tool itself is made very well, and feels very durable

I've never seen a tool like this. It's an adjustable crescent wrench, but it has a little less than a half circle punched out of each jaw. Those circle portions don't line up well at all when the jaws are fully closed. It could be used as a typical wrench for smaller applications. To put it bluntly, I didn't realize what I was ordering. I honestly don't see what it's meant for. If it's for door hinges, then a nail punch and hammer do everything I need. Otherwise, it seems kinda pointless to me.

I was excited to get this Gulfmew Adjustable Door Hinge Tool. I have seen the other "all in one" hinge adjustment tools online, but wanted something adjustable to do different size hinges. This tool allows me that option. The unfortunate thing about this is it's a smaller eight inch wrench so it is sometimes difficult to get leverage on it to pry the hinge. My wrench arrived all beat up and scratched. It works, but a new tool should arrive in better shape. The paint is chipped and scratched in several places. The adjustable wrench part was also rusty when I got it. It appears as this was a standard adjustable wrench that someone cut/adjusted to meet this purpose instead of being manufactured specifically in this manner. This wrench serves the purpose, but is very poor quality and overpriced at the current listing of $15.

This is a modified adjustable wrench, without teeth, meant to help adjust hinges. This will help to safely adjust a hinge without scratching the hinge; this is smooth. This isn't very large, but it works as described. This also comes with a metal pin, about 6", that can be used to knock pins out. Overall this seems like a decent value especially if you don't have a smooth wrench.

This does seem to work for its intended purpose. We've got a couple doors that are not level and one that constantly swings open. I was able to successfully adjust them with some guess & check strategies.I find this much easier to keep in place compared with a standard adjustable wrench.Unfortunately, there are downsides:1) The advertised "built in" hinge pin remover is not at all built in, and is one more thing to keep track of.2) The connection point is not smooth as shown in the photos, and does cause scratches. I might try to smooth that out on the tool, but it does not come "ready to use" if you are working on hinges where cosmetic damage matters.3) While this doesn't matter to me much, the nice finish in the product photo is not how mine arrived, despite arriving without any sign of shipping damage.For minor needs around the house, it's fine. But for sustained use or anyone who works as a handyman, I'd pay a bit more for a better designed version.

Reviewing Gulfmew Adjustable Door Hinge Tool with Built-In Hinge Pin Remover, This is one of those random tools that you never need until you do. We removed a few closet doors to paint them and it was hard to get them off and even harder to get them lined up and back on. We vowed never again, without the proper tools.This is well-built and sturdy. It works well to make minute adjustments that are impossible to make by hand. Combine this (after using the pin remover to remove the pins) with some shims and you get perfect alignment.

I just hung a door last week and could have really used this then. But, adjustments were needed and this makes adjustments very easy.I wish I had one of these years ago!

This tool has purpose, but it's disappointing as far as specialized tools go. The product description wasn't kidding about having minor surface scratches, but it failed to mention frequency of said scratches. The tool looks like it couldn't pass cosmetic standard for 2nd Quality at a reputable factory. It believe it's due to carelessness during finishind because the wrench arrived in bubble wrap inside a box. Also, the description states an integrated hinge pin remover, but it guess something got lost in translation because the hinge pin remover is a totally separate part.I hoped the tool would offer clear advantages over a regular adjustable wrench, but it doesn't The fit over the hinge knuckle is nothing special. It doesn't offer any significant leverage. The jaws could just as easily mar the door jamb if you're not careful. Although the wrench can work, I believe the tool isn't very special for a single-tasker and totally not worth the price.
