The Escoda Series 2410 Optimo Brushes are made from a custom blend using only the best male and female kolinsky hair. A perfect choice for watercolor, oil and acrylic artists, these brushes retain a perfect point after much use and have exceptional color retention & spring. Escoda brushes continue to be made by hand by the Escoda family as they were since 1933. This is a short handle size 2/0 round brush with bristles measuring a diameter of 0. 80mm and length of 7mm.

These were all delivered the same day. On the left 6 Escoda brushes from Jerry’s Artarama, on the right the one Escoda from Speedball. No pieces of the brush were in the box. This is the 2nd brush I order from Speedball and their second fail. The first one was a frayed, but not horribly. So, I just snipped a dozen hairs and it seems ok. No I don’t work for Jerry’s. I’m just an artist working really hard to reach for excellence. Speedball you going to make this right or should I just go spend another 25 dollars at Jerry’s and get the brush delivered in a usable condition? It won’t let me give 0 stars or that is what you would have gotten.
