I have gone back to parchment paper. The base of this is too small, my bread oozes over the silicone pad and becomes welded to the pan, broke one of the handles trying to get it out and destroyed a loaf of bread in the process . It’s useful for a very small sized boule, but it’s just too small to be of any use for my size breads.

These actually work fantastic! I like them SO MUCH BETTER than the other style slings. Unfortunately one of my slings had a defect. I have requested a return but I did ask the same item to be reshipped, as again, they are so much better than any other style. They do get hot, but you’re sticking it in a hot oven. I have never had an issue with my bread burning with these. Will update when I receive my new ones, as to defect and I will bump my stars up.

Makes it easier to remove bread from a hot Dutch oven. However, oil spray is hard to clean off completely.

I was using parchment paper and burned myself trying to get my bread out of the stock pot. This is SOOO much easier and less waste. Then I don’t have to worry about burning myself.

I really like these a lot more than the regular bread slings. The silicone is more like what you would see in a mold rather than a silicone mat. It is more flexible and thicker so it prevents burning on the bottom of the bread. It is also a lot easier to clean and looks better after a few uses than the flat bread slings. Its also easier to deal with the handles during baking. They are durable, work well and look better too.
