Doesn’t hold a charge long. Has virtually no instructions. It is kinda slow to type from pen to phone via Bluetooth.

Eigentlich war der Scanmaker als Lesehilfe für eine sehbehinderte Peron gedacht. Abgesehen davon, dass ein gebrauchtes Gerät ankam -das geht nicht !!, zumindest nicht zum vollen Preis !!-, lässt sich der Scanner nur über ein App nutzen. Für Android ist diese nicht über den App - Store, sondern nur über die Homepage des chinesischen (!) Herstellers herunterladen. Hierüber kann der geschätzte Käufer nachdenken. Ist sicher, dass man sich keine Probleme einhandelt?

Le souci de la qualité du service client ne semble pas la priorité du vendeur. Envoi très rapide mais tous les documents joints sont en langue US. Merci internet, j'ai trouvé une notice en français mais que de temps perdu. D'où ma note de 3 étoiles que le produit lui-même ne mérite pas car une fois en main (après lecture de la notice), il est très simple à utiliser et ce n'est que du plaisir. Il remplit parfaitement ce qu'on attend de lui, même avec de très petits caractères. Plein de fonctions l'enrichissent : traduction de texte, lecture à la voix...c'est magique.

I'm very impressed with this reader pen. It's fast and accurate and I'm excited to use it to assist me with my reading.I found it easy to get started. It scans into a web app and it has helpful features like highlighting the words while it reads them and it allows you to customize the layout with different word and letter spacings.It also has translation and dictionary options. I don't need the translation right now, but I can see it being very useful for others who need help with languages.It has a ruler guide included which is pretty neat, it helps to keep steady on the line I am scanning.All in all, it seems to be a great product and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Often mis reads. Definitely hard for a dyslexic child to hold steady over multiple lines to scan properly. The guide would be useful, however, it is too short for most lines in workbooks, so it ends up being more awkward, trying to slide it down the line at the same time you are trying to move the pen down with it. Often comes disconnected from the laptop during use and Hass to be re-connected. I thought this would help my son with his difficulty in reading so he could finish his homework assignments. It was a complete fail.
