Absolutely love this - I'm a regular tea drinker and I like to sip it slowly and this does the job in keeping it warm (along with my silicone lid covers). Durable item, lightweight so easy to bring with me when I travel, and the auto shutoff works after several hours. This would make a great gift for a fellow warm drink enthusiast! It does keep my coffee hot which is great for sipping. I have discovered the entire heater gets hot so I have had to place it on a heat proof trivet instead of the wood trivet. It doesn't turn itself off no matter how long it's been. I'm now very diligent at checking that it's off which is three taps. Twice I have returned home to find it's been on for greater than four hours. Hard to tell if my diligence is slipping or the warmer didn't turn off on the third tap. I recommend using much caution with children around because it's hot as my little finger can testify to.

I am an avid tea drinker and I like my tea in large mugs. But I hate that by the time I get to the bottom of the mug, my tea is cold. Funny how I love iced tea, but don't like hot tea that has gotten cold!!! I bought this warmer when I got a new job and it's one of the best purchases I've made! How have I lived without it? I absolutely love that my tea is just as hot from my first sip to my last! However, I did discover that it also depends on the mug I'm using. I don't know if the difference is the quality of the ceramic the mug is made from or what makes the difference. I love my Rae Dunn mugs and they work great, where as another mug that is made out of a lighter ceramic, doesn't work so well. I also found that my handmade ceramic/pottery mugs with a flat bottom work well also. I wanted to get a second warmer for home, but they are currently sold out. But I found the same exact one from a different seller, so I'm getting that for home!

So, it’s a coffee warmer. It’s good for keeping your coffee at a nice drinkable temperature for a while, so if you are a slow coffee drinker (or tea) it’s just right. Alas, though, as was claimed on a different review, it will *not* boil water or even get hot enough to make a mocha pot do its thing. It just keeps it a little hot, nothing more.

Listen, I work from home and I have severe depression that sometimes gets the better of me. One of my favorite treats is a cup of gourmet coffee I make myself. A nice Kenyan or Guatemalan coffee on a crappy day can make a big difference.So when I would consistently and CONSTANTLY let my coffee go cold, it was an infinite frustration for me. So i snagged one of these for myself and instantly knew I had to get one for both of my parents and my partner, who drinks a liter of coffee and a half liter of hot tea a day.There are 3 settingsRed - very hot, probably too warm for most uses.Purple - Holds my coffee at 140ish degrees for 4+ hours, perfect.Blue - Holds tea around 115-120 degrees, good if you just wanna keep it above room temp.Plug it in and let it rip, nothing to break and no real interfaces to worry about. not even a beep (thank god).Would buy again and have bought several
