This was a backup for some of my files, I transferred the files to it, mostly video files, and on and off i will play some of the videos. Well, a few days ago started to make noises, even when I wasn't using it, (constantly, I should add), and yesterday some of my files were damaged.I DO NOT recommend.

I received 2 of these recently. Upon installing them into my NAS, one was DOA. So far, so good. Drive is functioning properly. Hopefully time will tell on life span. Great deal on storage! Drive came packaged nicely, well padded and in stat bag. I've purchaced a few drives now and 100% satisfied!

Seems to work so far. It's a rebranded enterprise HDD but is missing the middle side 3.5" mounting screw holes commonly found on other 3.5" HDD - so if you case requires the middle screws you may have issues (it only has the screw holes on the far ends of the drives).
