Après quelques temps d’usage, ça dépanne mais ce n’est pas la matériel de cette marque le plus costaud.

Probably overkill for most tasks, but this is strong. I wished it was retractable for ease of storage. I will probably leave it at full length now. Putting it together was fairly easy. Item is as described except my counter weight is orange instead of red as pictured. The counter weight is a beast. Because of weight, the packaging arrived in shambles. The packaging tape was barely holding it together. However, nothing was damaged because of how strong the product is constructed. The pivot clamp is large and metal. I am sure this rig will last forever. I paired this with the Manfrotto 1005BAC Ranker Stand. Seems to be a good combo. I am only using this to hold the Flashpoint eVOLV 200 and 22-inch beauty dish or soft-box. No issues here.

counterbalance is perfect and makes it very stable. Much much better than sandbags. I have had heavy studio strobes and hot lights with large soft boxes on it and it felt stable and safe. The clamps are solid and easy to use. Most of our studio gear is Manfrotto.

I like Manfrotto (Bogen) products for their descent quality and affordable price point. Problem with this is its waaaaaaay over priced. For what they charged you would expect two more legs and a head. Not much competition for this sort of thing I guess. Its well made just overpriced.

It goes together easily with some ingenuity (like all other manfrotto products they see instructions as superfluous) - the weight is very heavy, surprisingly so after years of using sand bags for counter weights. The pole does not retract - its maximum length is the only length (which gets some getting used to) but well built, holds an Alienbee 800 and 6' PLM with ease. It The release lever is the good old grind the gears type which is annoying and best used with minimal adjustments (read: leave as a hair light and let it alone).
