Works well. It was purchased to play games on at it does that well. Its used to watch movies when at locations where I have long wait times also I use it for my bible at church using the bible app.

This is by far one of my best investments I made for myself. I have the larger kindle fire which I still use but this 7 inch is better to read from and able to fit in my smaller backpack/purse. I still get everything I get on my larger kindle especially my audible plus I can see movies if I wish on it .

A cute easy to hold tablet so I can read my books or play on the apps. I love the size and processing power of this device.

The 7 inch fire is lightweight and easy to hold. Screen resolution is excellent. It works well as a Kindle reader and for reading the news and checking your email. I have had no issues with the refurbished version although I suspect that battery in a new one might last longer.. However it is small, with the usable screen not much bigger than a large smartphone. It also seems slow, even compared to my 10 inch Kindle fire; many websites seem to take a very long time to load. The other serious problem is the paucity of apps available from the AppStore, far fewer than with Apple or Android devices. The proprietary Silk browser works reasonably well but is inferior to Chrome or Mozilla, which are not available. Don't expect performance and features even remotely similar to an IPad or Samsung tablet.

I have purchased both this Certified Refurbished version and the regular New version of the Amazon Fire 7 tablet, and I cannot tell them apart. This refurbished one came still wrapped in plastic and with no visible defects or any signs of use.I'm using these refurbished ones as smart home displays around the house and they are working perfectly for that purpose. I also have one that my young son uses, and it's been perfect as a kids tablet as well. The expandable storage (MicroSD card) allows for many apps/media to be stored on the tablet for a long trip, which is hard to find in tablets nowadays. So, even though this is listed as 32GB, it can be much more than that by simply adding a cheap MicroSD card.I would recommend these refurbished ones over new to save a bit of money and still get practically new tablets. I certainly would/will buy more in the future.
