These seemed like they would be good for someone just needing some protection, like in some sports. I have had full knee replacement surgery in both knees and just need some soft padding when kneeling. These were a little too hard/firm for what I need, so I had to send them back.

As a goalie, I wear Bauer knee pads under my leg pads. The Bauers were a little large for my knees. I wear these on my knees, under the Bauers, and they take up the slack.
