It's really too bad because this is the ONLY seatpost I can find with the setback I need. However the seat won't stay up. Rotates forward and backwards easily even when the bolt is tightened as much as it can be.

The grooves to lock in the pitch of seat are poorly made and will slip out of place. The seller charged half of the cost to restock the item after I returned it (damaged) and claims it’s still functional. Don’t buy it. And if you do buy it buy from another seller, NOT TX BIKES

Like the other reviewer, on my first ride the saddle was slipping due to the poorly engineered saddle clamp, no matter how tightly it was secured. There are grooves on the parts that interface, and on one part there are small shallow grooves spaced closely, and on the other there are deeper grooves spaced further apart, so they don't mesh. And even if they did mesh, it would probably still slip since the saddle clamp is aluminum even thought the rest of the seatpost is heavy steel. What were they thinking? When I took it apart after the first ride, little slivers of aluminum fell out and the place where there was once grooves was smooth.I tried to use dremel grinding wheel to make matching grooves in the saddle clamp to see if I can salvage it, but that did not work out well. Next to try is to sprinkle some sand in between to see if that holds it better.

Rode 200km and then bike post ratchet started to slip and could not then keep seat level anymoreHas to pitches on ratchet ,one is twice as fine as the other oneAsked Bikewagon to replace it, but wanted me to seen it back first ,I dont want to waiting six months to get another oneDO THE RIGHT THING AND SEND ME ANOTHER PART OR SEAT POST
