Hardness adjustment
Use a hexagonal wrench to adjust the hardness of the shock absorber. Anticlockwise adjustment is soft, and clockwise adjustment is hard. The counterclockwise adjustment should not exceed 5 mm at most to prevent the screws from falling off. Please adjust according to your own weight and road conditions.
Minimum Insertion
The correct installation of the seatpost requires the warning line to be below the seatpost clamp, so that the overall stress area is even and does not break.

As another user noted - this post has a critical design flaw with a secondary seat clamp. If you clamp it tight, no suspension, and if you leave it loose, lateral wobble. Returning!

The problem is simple, in order for the post to compress and recoil the supplied clamp ring must be loose enough to allow the up and down travel of the suspension......but then the seat post will swivel slightly from left to right. When I say "clamp ring" I am not referring to the clamp that holds the seat post to the bike frame. I believe that the supplied clamp ring was an after thought in an attempt fix the design flaw. I've never seen a suspension seat post with 2 clamp rings before. I will be returning unfortunately.

Doesn't feel like it even has a spring it's stiff as a brick. I've loosened the screw at the bottom of the post as far as I'm comfortable doing without it exploding apart. Very disappointed with this one.

That said, I brought a similar one, one size smaller because the seller did not have that size.
