Expensive but you pay for what you get. Solid well made and makes a noticeable difference. There might be cheaper option available but in doubt this one is a sure bet.

【利用状況】・普段生活乗り利用・8万円程度の16インチ軽量折りたたみ自転車【使用レビュー】・歩道の段などの衝撃は多少軽減するが、それよりもペダリング時の尻の動きにサドルがついてくる感じで、尻や内股の擦れが軽減する方が効果を感じた。 ・数キロ乗ってみて、尻の痛みは結局体重の重みなのでサドルの固さの方が重要。 ・重量が増すので、グラムで気にするスポーツ乗りにはデメリットだが、一般乗りには気にならない程度の増加(イメージしていたより軽かった) ・ポストの長さ(上下調整出来る範囲)に注意350と400mmの2タイプあるが、台座部11cm、可能上限は下から7cm、それを引いた長さが調整可能幅 ・折りたたみ自転車の場合、折りたたみ時サドルを下げて突き出たポストを支柱にするタイプがあるが、こちらを使用すると長さが足りなくなるので注意(センタースタンドなど付けて代用) ・デザインが良いので、盗難に注意が必要(私は台座の隙間にサドル防犯チェーンを通している)

I have a back problem so this definitely helped a lot. A great alternative to full suspension bike if you don't have a budget for it.

日本語表示の少し安い物を注文しましたが、実際は直径27.2ｍｍではなく31ｍｍ程度の物が混入していたのか届いてしまい、返品してこちらで再注文しました。こちらはカバーも最初から付いていて、コスト的に損はなかった様に思います。製品自体についてですが、四角い部分が変形して後ろ下へスライドするので、地面の凸凹の突き上げがサドルに余り来ません。サドルが数センチ後ろへ下がるので、最初はハンドルポストがわずかに前にしなっているのかと錯覚しましたが、慣れると異和感なくなりました。 おしりの痛みは減ります。近距離なら必要は無いと思いますが、ロングライドするなら確実に差を感じると思います。製品自体は重いので、自転車本体の軽量化を追い求める方には不適切です。 余り気にしない方や、荷物を積んでのツーリングされる方には良いと思います。

This linkage-type post works much better than the telescoping suspension seat posts. It also is less costly than competitive linkage-type posts.It has more travel. It moves more naturally. It reacts to even small bumps, which the telescoping type didn't do as well.It's also great this is sold as a set with the cover. I can see how dirt and grime can get caught up in the linkages and roller bearing.The only down-side is the linkage design takes up a lot of vertical space (about 3.5in), so you need to be sure you have enough space to accommodate it on your set-up. It barely leaves enough room for the ball-hitch I clamp to it and still clear my rear rack when I have the trailer connected.

This seat post is amazing, I been riding road bike for maybe 10 years now? If you ridden road bike, you know it's not about the comfort... and coming from road bike to building a hybrid bike adding this seat post makes a Day and Night difference when you pair it with the Cloud 9 seats. It's like SUV vs Sedan going down a bumpy road and this makes the bike like a SUV confort.Highly recommanded if you are here looking at it for the comfort and not trying to win a TT Road bike championship. lol do it now buy it!

I say this without exaggeration - this is without a doubt the best purchase I have ever made for my bike. I ride a mountain e-bike, but generally spend about 80% of my time on the street. As such, I purchased hybrid tires to replace the nobbies that it came with. The increased pressure required by the different tires, when added to the fact that e-bikes are generally quite a bit heavier, resulted in a dreadfully uncomfortable ride. While my bike has suspension in the front, it does not in the back, and I could feel every bump, large and small. I went from loving my bike to hating it. I decided that I either had to go back to the old type tires or find some other way to improve the ride. After doing quite a bit of research and reading reviews on multiple sites, I decided to give the Suntour SP12 NCX seat post a try.The product looks extremely well built and installation was a breeze. In no more than fifteen or twenty minutes, I was ready to see if it really was as good as so many reviews had indicated. After taking it on a short test ride, I made one simple adjustment, and then took it on a serious ride. To say that the ride was as good as it was before the tire changeout would be an understatement. It’s actually much, much better. It’s like the difference between the ride of a luxury sedan and a forklift. I can’t believe I ever rode a bicycle without it. It really is that good!

Product ok but don’t buy if you are close to the seat post being too high. Adds almost 4 inches. 5’11, pants inseam 32 inches and a bit too high on a Radrover 5. Hope this helps.
