Material Quality and design:It feels rather cheap and low quality, with a malleable plastic casing, and a speed dial that wobbles. The accessories and overall design on the other hand is outstanding. Everything sockets into each other smoothly and securely without any wobble; It was also intuitive, I didn't need to read the manual. The printed measurements are accurate, and they didn't wash off after a trip inside the dishwasher. In fact, there wasn't any dishwasher issues. The bowl has a standard flat bottom. The opening is on the smaller side, but can still fit a whole, non-baking russet potato.Storage:The motor base is about 5 pounds, so it's not that cumbersome to get and put away from a cupboard. All the parts fit well in the basket as well. However, There isn't a cable clip or a good place to lay the cord.Safety:It uses the standard tab-based safety feature; When the lid is placed correctly, a tab is pressed and allows the machine to run. If you unlatch the lid, it turns off automatically as the tab is no longer held down. I was not able to forcefully find a way to hold the tab to trick the machine into running, so it's pretty big kid friendly in that regard. The blades on the other hand aren't great; There's no good place to hold onto the blades piece where you won't touch the blades, and even less safe areas when you're applying a lot of pressure to lock it by turning it. The removable blade guard is easy to put on and take off by just squeezing open the casing.Speed and Power:I was planning on using just a couple potatoes to test all the plates, but it managed to shred the entire potato in less than a second on low. So, the power and speed is extremely high, so high that you aren't going to have good slicing control and the second speed option is rarely going to get used. This speed also made the emulsifying plate work extremely well without the sauce splitting. Anything batter-like is going to get over mixed almost instantly, aside from the outside edges due to the flat bottom; Stick with a hand mixer for that stuff. Homemade pizza dough mixed into a ball very quickly, with a few scrapes to the walls and pulsing, resulted in a decent kneading without turning the dough into a gooey mess. It didn't feel like it was having a hard time with the dough.

It is OK, it gets the job done eventually, but it does not have enough power. I replaced my Cuisenart FP with this product to save some money, but I will go back to Cuisinart someday. It came well packaged, and it looks good on my counter. The small blade was missing, but since I only use the large blade, I did not send it back.
