A few times per week, I use manual W-blade-style garlic/vegetable choppers to chop garlic, ginger, onions, etc. (I’ll call those “garlic choppers” for this review.) By manual garlic chopper, I mean the kind where you pump down on the spring-loaded plunger with your palm to extend a W-shaped blade. Such choppers work well but they are noisy, hard to clean, and they waste garlic because some garlic gets stuck in the W-blade & blade-guard. (So, for example, if a recipe calls for 3 cloves, I’ll chop 4 cloves to make up for the waste.) Those manual choppers always end up breaking because they can’t take the pounding.I was afraid that the Vseegrs garlic chopper would puree garlic instead of chopping it, and I was worried that it might be difficult to clean. But I was wrong. A quick pulse or two creates a nice chop. And it wastes very little garlic because it doesn’t really stick the blade and the rest is easy to scrape off. It can easily be rinsed off thereby saving a lot of time cleaning up. It’s very nice. This chopper will replace my manual choppers. The chopper is pretty compact. There are choices for 2-sizes of bowls and blades. I only ever need the smaller one.The only downside is that it has a micro-USB port instead of a USB-C port. It comes with a micro-USB cable, but it’s disappointing that in 2025, it’s not USB-C like everything else I have. The micro-USB port has a tethered, silicone cap.Except for the micro-USB port, I love this chopper. For my cooking needs it’s much better than a manual, W-blade chopper and it costs about the same as a manual chopper. It’s so awesome that I’ll probably buy a few more for gifts. I’m rating it 5-stars.

At first thought, I thought it seemed cheaply made. But it’s surprisingly effective and waterproof, as promised.
