The quality of these cherry splits is great - they light quickly, are a good size, and with no rot or mold in my box. They are good sized splits that, when not split further, do burn for a good half an hour. I don't have a stick burner, so I had to cut these down to 1" thickness or smaller to work in my Frankenstein setup for my Weber Kettle.I smoked a couple of pork shoulders, hot and fast, using the pictured setup. The wood gave a great flavor to the pork when using an all-wood fire here. This setup is very inefficient and not recommended, but it got the job done! The wood burned at a predictable rate for the size of each split, as I'd sometimes load smaller splits and sometimes I'd try a larger one.Overall I'd like to get another box - these are great burning kiln-dried splits that yield a nice flavor into hot and fast smokes, and likely work great with simple live-fire cooking, which I will try next.

This bundle of BBQ cherry wood exceeded my expectations.Right out of the box, the wood is clean, dry, and well-cut—no mold, debris, or uneven chunks. The aroma is rich and slightly sweet even before it hits the fire, which is always a good sign.I used it with both pork ribs and chicken thighs, and the results were phenomenal. The smoke was smooth and mellow with just the right amount of fruitiness. It gave my meats a gorgeous mahogany finish and a subtle hint of cherry that my guests couldn’t stop talking about. The quality of the wood is great, the pieces are not rotted or damaged, nice clean pieces of wood. The wood arrived packed very neatly in a box. As soon as you open the box you can get that oak wood scent.The wood is dry and insect free. No rot or damage at all. It catches fire easily and burns well. These are large pieces of wood but I broke them up into small chunks to use in my BBQ grill. It worked great.I was surprised at the quality. Overall it's great and a must have for BBQ enthusiasts.

This is beautiful, Cherry firewood. The size per piece varies, but the average is about 12"X3", which is the perfect size for cooking. It's very dry, split nicely, with the bark still on. It should light easily with just a fire starter and no additional kindling. It comes in a 30-pound box. It will be ideal for cooking, either on a grill, in a fire pit, or just in a campfire. Yes, it's pricy, but you're paying for convenience here. You could cut, split, and dry your own wood, or just open the box and have great wood ready for cooking. I am very pleased with this Cherry firewood and will love it for cooking on my grill.
