This remote works great, and I like the fact that it gives a 2-second delay option. You can click it and put the remote down before the picture snaps. That way, you're not in every picture holding something pointed at the camera.

First off, it came with no instructions of any sort. Literally just the remote in a plastic bag. Thankfully there are plenty of YouTube videos to help. But it wouldn't work. I'm not sure if the remote or battery are just bad but there was no response like anything at all was happening.

Went for the cheapest one I could find bc I needed it next day to snap photos from a camera mounted on a 10 foot pole... and I expected it not to work. Well it did... perfectly. Most useful little thing I have ever seen. There were a few times I thought it was broken, but turns out I had switched my camera settings and forgot I need to switch it back to enable remote shooting. Thing worked like a charm for the 6hr shoot. Even has a nice little spot to attach a key ring or wrist band so you dont drop it. Made my life so much easier.

This works great for my Canon T3i. There’s a switch on the back that allows you to either snap still shots OR to start recording a video. The autofocus works with the pictures, I haven’t gotten to testing the autofocus for video. Overall great purchase.

I was thinking a lot before buying this but after using it once, I loved it. It does what it is supposed to do and setup was very simple. I am using it with my canon camera and it works great. Please note that it comes with two modes.1. immediate mode2. two seconds delay modei always use the 2nd mode where it gives some delay between button press and actual photo. It gives enough time for me to hide the remote :P

I previously had the Amazon remote control made for Canon's which worked amazingly and was low cost like

To me, this is excellent. It fills the purpose. Yet, at that price, you have no right to complain. Buyer must be sure this is what fulfills his needs. Very short range: Will not work 25 feet away. Not for 'outdoorish' self portraits.1-Great for indoor family pictures without bothering with using the timer.2-For taking funny unexpected pictures of your siblings after leaving the camera aimed. : )3-GREAT for periodic pictures of sunset, sunrise, when it is a must not to move the camera.
