Scratching is first nature for cats and plays a very important role in the cat's mental and physical health. My cat loves this cat scratcher. I buy it every time she has used it to the point it's no longer helping her nails. It was easy to install when I first bought it. I helps protect the wood on the window edge that I installed it onto.

Cats love this product but if you don't want to mount it on the wall it is too small for the floor.

This scratcher is solid, durable, and doesn’t go “THUNK” every time my cats use it, unlike those flimsy cardboard ones. The carpet holds up well, and the weight of the wood keeps it steady even when my cats get a little too into it. We’ve had it for three months, and it’s already outlasted the competition, so I’ll probably be grabbing more. Highly approved by both me and my tiny, destructive overlords.

I love these, but I'm not going to lie. I don't have a good sense of how big things are, even looking at dimensions, because everything under 2' doesn't mean much to me. They look nice and seem pretty durable so far, but I just wish they were a little bigger.
