This scratching pad and bed is great for my cat Taco, who loves the more luxurious things in life. She immediately loves this from the second I completed assembly (which was very easy and included tools to put it together). The board has (2) halves that you put together, therefor the middle is sensitive to weight. Taco has a tummy on her, so she puts a lot of pressure on it, but it has withstood her weight thus far. It's not only a comfortable bed for cats to lounge and sleep on, but it's also an appealing scratching board.The base price for this scratching pad & bed is $46.98. The seller is currently giving out an 11% and 10% discount, which brings the price down $39.57, which I think is reasonable for what you're getting.

Absolutely love these products. Super easy to assemble and packaged in the cutest box! Cats love it also. Comes with everything I need to assemble - even a screwdriver.

I had previously ordered the smaller version of this sofa and I must say, the smaller one held up MUCH better. This one shredded apart and had FAR more bits of cardboard all over the place than the little one. The cats still loved it, but it didn't hold up well and made quite a mess fairly early on.

At last! A large enough bed for a BIG male cat.2 bench pieces that slot together and have a peice of heavy duty tape to hold in place until fully assembled.2 armrests that slot onto the bench on either side.14 screws (7 front 7 back)Screwdriver - one side phillips one side flat, has a handle to attached to assist in using.front and back pieces of strurdy pressboard that hold the unit together.1 stuffed fish toy apx 6 inches, 1 toy to be tossed or added to a wand/pole that looks like a bug.Instructions for assembly. It's pretty easy to just assemble by looking at the picture.It's very sturdy once assembled, I expect it to last a couple of years minus any liquid getting on it to ruin the cardboard.I was gifted a smalller one a few years ago when I got my female cat - Princess. It looked like a throne, she loved it until it met an untimely demise by a bowl of water spilling on it and degrading the cardboard. I was able to replace that one easily but have been looking for a bigger one for the 2 males I have. Chad is in the picture and as you can see fills the bed. It's pleanty large enough for him to stretch out and the armrests are strudy that he can lay on them or drape over them without fear of the unit collapsing.I plan on buying another one for the other male I have who is equally as large. They don't like sharing :DHighly recommend this for anyone with a cat.

The idea to put a scratching post material on this cat lounge throne was great but I've also found that cats don't always like to sleep where they play so I put a heating pad on it in order to entice my cats to sleep on it and that seemed to do the trick!It's adorable for cats and it's a great value because you get a scratching "post" and lounge bed in one. It's a decent size so it can fit two adult size cats, as long as they get along.I have also found that by placing some catnip on it, my cats became more interested in it. Due to the fact that its not made of soft material, they weren't interested in sleeping on it at first, which is why I added the heating pad and that drew both cats to sleep on it.My one concern is that it's made of this scratching material that is similar to cardboard which cats will tare to shreds eventually. I've had scratching posts made of this similar swiss cheese box material and after a period of time, it becomes broken up and shredded by the cats' claws so you should consider if the price is worth it. I am thinking of it as a scratching post that they can temporarily sleep on until it is ripped apart. To me, their fun and enjoyment is worth the price!

Our 4 large Ragdoll cats LOVE this scratching bed. We bought a bed for each of them so they's stop fighting over it LOL
