This AGPTEK device somewhat undersells itself as just an “MP3 player”. It’s actually a lot more than that. With it’s full-HD screen, wi-fi and Bluetooth connectivity, it’s really a functional little media player and mass-storage device all in a single, compact unit.Included in the box are the media device, wired earbuds, USB cable, screen protector and clear silicone protective case.Like many others that have reviewed this device, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a unit with 128GB of storage, rather than the advertised 64GB. That said, according to the manufacturer’s website, this device appears to have a rather outdated MediaTek MTK6762 processor, which is a low-power processor that dates back to 2018, or so.The lack of processing power shows up in its media playback capability. Although boasting a full-HD screen, the unit struggles to play an HD video stream from YouTube with constant buffering of the stream. The situation doesn’t fully resolve until you reduce the video resolution to 480P, at which point it streams and displays smoothly. Given the very small 5” screen, you’re unlikely to notice any difference in quality between a FHD and 480P video anyway.Speaking of YouTube, while I can stream from YouTube using a browser, the factory-installed YouTube application gives me a “server error” every time I try to use it, despite several attempts to rectify the problem. I ended up uninstalling it and leaving it that way.I do like that the AGPTEK unit has a traditional headphone jack and micro-SD slot. That simplifies use of the device and, when combined with its USB-On-The-Go compatibility, allows it function as a handy mass storage device. For my purposes, this makes it a great companion for backing up photos and videos from my camera while travelling (see photo). I can keep copies on this device in my hotel safe where they won’t be lost should my camera get lost or stolen. Unfortunately, the weak processor again makes this functionality more time consuming than it could otherwise be.I can’t be too hard on this AGPTEK device given the incredibly low asking price. It’s functional as a media player and storage device and is cheap enough you won’t care too much if something happens to it down the road. That gives it some utility, but it could be vastly improved with a little more processing power and a slightly larger screen.

My hope this AGPTEK player becomes available again for PRIME Day. It's becoming my favorite MP3/MP4. It's great value for the money.I also recommend you read all the reviews.Update: July 10, 2025 - Using USB cable to access MP4 player Intenal and SDC storage.Recommend using the USB cable that comes with MP4 player. If it does not automatically show the internal storage on PC file Explorer, try another USB port. If none of the ports end up showing the MP4 internal storage try a different cable. If that does not help, try another PC. Initially I could not get USB to work on my Desktop. I contacted Amazon Seller - 0N3 Fire-US via Amazon and they replied with 24 hrs with several recommendations which I shared above. A great product with great support. Now I want to address minimal the negative comments.Regarding charging: This goes for most the MP3 on the market. They do not include a charging adapter - only a USB charging cable. These MP3 players are not designed for fast charging. If you try to use a multi-voltage fast charger you will most likely burnout the MP3 charging circuit. To be safe, use 5V 1A 5w charger. I am using a 5V 2.1A 10w charger with the AGPTEX with no problems. The AGPTEX has a huge battery so fast charging should not be an issue. Now as to memory. MP3 including AGPTEK have up to 3 sources of Memory. AGPTEX has 4 gb of RAM which is used for temporary data. There are 2 types of Storage - internal and external (TF card). The storage holds APP downloads. It can also hold DL music, video, pictures, emails, etc. Many MP3's hold 16 gb of internal storage. AGPTEX is advertised as 64 gb of INTERNAL storage. Many of the reviews talk about getting 128 gb of internal storage. My AGPTEX came with 128 gb of internal storage. This makes it very easy for me to DL many, many Apps as well as lots of Data. Those reviews that mention only 4 gb of Memory are ignoring the 64 gb or 128 gb of STORAGE. My Oilsky MP3 came with 4 gb of Ram, 16gb of internal memory, and 128 gb TF card. The AGPTEK does not include a TF card and as far as I am concerned the 128 gb internal should be more than sufficient. Now about WiFi. Most MP3s, including AGPTEK have slightly weaker WiFi circuitry. My max 5G wifi runs about 300 to 500 MBPS. I have a WiFi 7 router and a 1g MBPS provider. In my living room, 1 room from my router, my AGPTEK runs about 100 mbps on 5G. My Oilsky will run about 80 to 100 mbps. I returned an earlier MP3 that was only able to get 3 to 5 mbps. If you are having problems with 5G, try 2.4G Wifi. The 2.4G is stronger but slower. If your AGPTEK has wifi problems, you probably need to return it.The AGPTEX T09PL came well packaged in a nice box. The best packaging so far. It comes with a transparent case for protection as well a screen protector. It also has Android 13 which allows you to DL a wide range of Android Apps. It has a large 5" touch screen. Has 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz WiFi and unlike some MP3 players, the 5 Ghz is fairly fast if your router and provider internet is fast.I have a 5 1/4" Oilsky MP3/MP4. It's slightly bigger screen. I basically use both of these as mini-tablets. This AGPTEX lists internal memory at 64 gb. My AGPTEK came with 128 gb internal with 4 gb RAM. The AGPTEK did not come with a TF card. With 64gb or 128 gb internal you may never need to add a TF card. The FM radio does require the wired earphone to use as an antennae but you can still BT connect to wireless ear buds. The unique feature for the FM is if you want you can save the audio.I tried to DL music, audio, video with the USB cable but my desktop did not find the storage on the the MP3. (See July 10 update above) It maybe my desktop USB cable. I transferred music, etc by saving it to TF card on the desktop and then inserting the TF card into the MP3 and moving the music, etc to the internal storage. Of the 128gb of internal storage, 13gb for Apps, 11gb for video, 9.1 gb for system, 1 mb photos, 1 gb of audio.AGPTEK can play audio in MP3 and AAC format. It can not play WMA format. I don't have music in other formats so have no idea if they can or can not be played. I Using the KM Player it can play videos inAVI, MP4, and MOV formats.Spotify and Pandora play ok. Videos play smoothly. Kindle and Libby work well as readers. LabriVox is included and has free audio books if interested. I only know it works.Watch for this MP3/MP4 for NOW that it's available. A great MP3/MP4

I got the AGPTEK 64GB MP3 Player mainly for listening to music and audiobooks on the go, and it’s exceeded my expectations. The 5" touch screen is super responsive, and having Android 13 means I can download all my favorite apps like Spotify, Audible, and even YouTube without any issues. The built-in 64GB is plenty for daily use, and the option to expand up to 1TB is a huge bonus — I’ll never run out of space for my playlists, podcasts, or offline videos.Bluetooth and WiFi work really well, so I can easily connect my wireless headphones and stream when I’m on WiFi. The sound quality is great too — clear and rich, whether I'm using Bluetooth or wired headphones. It boots up quickly, and navigating between apps feels just like using a small smartphone, which makes the experience really smooth and user-friendly. Plus, it’s nice not to drain my phone battery with music all day long.Battery life is solid for daily use, and I love that it's compact enough to take to the gym, travel with, or use around the house. It’s perfect for anyone who wants a dedicated media player without the distractions of a phone. For the price, you’re getting a lot of features and flexibility packed into a portable, well-made device. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a solid alternative to using your phone for entertainment.

As a DJ or just an avid music listener, this device comes in clutch in a lot of ways that I used to use my phone... but with some clear advantages. For a remote setup, or events where I can just use a playlist, it's great to set this up with some speakers and not worry about leaving my phone behind (or incoming calls interrupting music). The 128gb onboard storage is more than enough for a collection of playlists to play locally, and the ability to connect to WiFi to play streams is great. Unlike my iPhone, this device also has a headphone jack as well as a flash card slot, which really adds a lot of flexibility. At home, it's easy to load up your music apps of choice, and even the Sonos app to use as a dedicated remote for your home audio. The size of the device is similar to a small non-plus size mobile, and the UI while not as smooth as a phone for reading long screens of text, is more than adequate for managing playlists and interacting with Spotify.

I have a few WiFi-MP3 players that are very much like this, and they're working great. Over the last few years, I have used probably a dozen similar devices, and they all worked, but had a lot of limitations compared to this player. This is larger than the other, but it has a lot more to offer, and that includes battery life. I'm getting over 36 hours of service from one charge, which is excellent. Since the display goes dark after a couple of minutes, it saves a lot of battery life. The version of Android used here (13) offers more options than Android 10, which is used in the other devices. With this device, I can access the Google Play Store and download apps, something the others did not allow. For us, the main use of players like this is to stream music to a Bluetooth speaker in my wife's home office. We used to have a WiFi-connected speaker that allowed us to use our phones to run Spotify and Prime Music, and even after we were out of the house, the player would maintain the connection and keep the music going. Unfortunately, after five years, it gave out. Because they are streaming players, this worked out well as it has both Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, which allows them to connect to the streaming service and then play the music via Bluetooth over a BT speaker or headset. I found that these are quick to pair with various Bluetooth headsets or when using wired headsets via the auxiliary audio connection. When reconnecting, it re-establishes the WiFi and Bluetooth connections within a couple of seconds after powering up.► Unlike a lot of similar music players, this can connect to both 2.4 & 5GHz WiFi networks.► Connecting to our WiFi service was no different than with an Android phone, and the connection has been stable.● Physically, it is a little larger and heavier than other options, but it has a battery that offers a lot more playing time, and this means more weight.Using this device is simple. Like the others, this uses a trimmed-down version of Android. If you have an Android phone, much of the UI will be familiar to you. Certain streaming services come pre-installed. I won't bother to go over them, as it's easy to see the various apps that it comes with from the seller's pictures. With the internal memory and when plugging in a TF (mini SD) card, music files can be added by connecting the player to a PC and then using a USB cable to connect. It's the same setup as moving files between a PC and an Android phone. In addition to streaming, it is an excellent mobile audio player. Again, I won't go over the various formats it's capable of playing, as the seller has these all listed as well.► We have it paired to the car's Bluetooth-capable stereo so we can play the music we want via the system.► Like most new devices, this uses a USB-C charging connection, and a short cable is included, but there is no power brick.► In the box, there is also a nice silicone clear case to protect the player.► The UI is easy to navigate, and the display is large enough that the buttons are big enough to use without any fuss.► Its built-in speaker is just slightly quieter than the one on my S21 phone, but it is quite usable. If someone were to ask me what I would suggest for streaming or even just a Bluetooth audio/video player, this would be at the top.

This is a great little device that runs apps, and connects to the internet via wi-fi. It's like a miniature android tablet or an android phone, without the phone and camera features. I'm liking it for listening to my audiobooks while working around the house and in the garden.ChargingI tried initially with my quick-charge transformer (5V/3A), and it did not charge. Possibly because it is a multi-voltage transformer? I'm not sure. So I had to dig out an old 5V/2A transformer and it worked.BatteryI've used it to listen to audiobooks, on bluetooth for about 12 hours, plus whatever time it took me to browse through what's on board, plus setup and about 11 days of idle time before the battery drained down to 15% and required recharging.AccessoriesThey include a screen-protector, and a silicone protector case, which is much appreciated. They also include a basic set of earphones and a range of inserts for different ear sizes. I did not try it out since I listen to audiobooks while working in the garden and cables just get in the way. They provide a charging cable, but no transformer, you have to provide your own, or plug it into your computer to charge.ScreenIt's not super high-res, but for $50, it's about what I would expect. The colours are bright, and the images are clear.Overall, I think this is a great little device, especially because it has a TF/micro SD slot, so I can organize my audio files using my computer (much bigger screen!)

a pretty solid little mp3 player and so much more. It took me using it over the span of numerous days to decide how I feel about it. I wasn't too sure at first, but once I got used to it, I love it. I can do a lot of the things that I have previously used my phone for like listening to music, reading a book, browsing the internet, watching YouTube videos, etc that all too often drained my battery life way down and quickly. There are some annoying little quirks but overall, I think I'll keep it for those mentioned tasks. I'm not sure about its security features so I will continue to do sensitive things on my phone. One of the issues I was having that I don't know how to resolve is that I would turn it off for awhile and when I'd go back later to finish what I was doing on it, it needed to power back up like I'd turned it all the way off not just shut if off, if you know what I mean. If you hold the button down, it does give you the option to power off, restart, or take a screenshot...but I know that I didn't power it off all the way. I don't know if it's some kind of power conserving setting that I just need to figure out how to shut off, but a few times it took several minutes to get up and running all the way like it was frozen and was super annoying.Sometimes the sound can be a little tinny sounding and others, it sounds terrific. I really like that it came with wired earphones and a protective case, too. The headphones are supposedly also used as an antenna for the radio app but I'm in a large metro area and could pick up absolutely no radio stations with them. :/The screen is a good size, nice, crisp, bright images with great resolution. I love watching YouTube videos on it.I'm still trying to figure out a few things in settings and how things work but overall, I'm plenty thrilled with this little device.
