Perfect set of some stainless rods. Measures in at 300mm x 5mm give or take a very tiny margin. Good price and good value. I purchased these to function as axles in some custom machines that I'm prototyping. Would recommend!

These 5mm Rods are very nice for the price they cost. Ends are straight and don't have a burr around the edge so you don't have to worry about cutting yourself while managing new ones. Surface finish is polished and shiny. Stainless steel rods but slightly magnetic due to the type of metal used. Measuring with a caliper, the rod shows 4.98mm on average so over all pretty close to spot on. Length wise, they are 300mm on the dot as well so no worry about being short.Great for using as shafts for pulleys and the slight under size helps to get them onto the rods. Over all I think these are great for the price and the amount you get. Very quality work for home projects!

These are as advertised, Just the right thickness; was able to bend and form into a custom soldering iron holder. Also works for custom wire handles for small epoxy container lids. The possibilities are many,

These stainless steel rods are flawlessly manufactured. They are straight and smooth with cleanly cut ends. My measurements matched dimensions in the listing (see picture for size of 2 mm rods relative to a pen). Testing with a magnet evidenced slight magnetism, which is consistent with 304 stainless steel.Stainless steel rod which is thin enough to bend comes in handy on occasion for repairs or projects on my sailboat. I believe these rods will serve well. I would order them again.

These stainless steel rods work great. They're sturdy and accurately sized. For me, this 2.5mm size is perfect for making hinges on 3D printed parts. Unlike a coat hanger or other makeshift hacks, these rods are perfectly straight and consistently sized throughout the whole length. This makes it a lot easier when making a longer hinge, as the rod has to slide through the whole length of the part. This stainless steel is a lot tougher, too. And, I really like that I can batch out a few of these and know that the hinge will work smoothly every time.

These rods are definitely stainless steel. They have only slight attraction to a magnet, which is typical to 304 stainless steel. The rods are pretty consistent in size, have good surface finish, straight and the ends are saw cut. It appears they were ground and polished to achieve this finish. However they measure around 2.485 mm. This is very much usable on a lathe, but they could be more precise.
