Our flower bed next to our patio had gotten a little out of hand. Rather than trying to salvage it, I dug up everything that was in it and I am starting from scratch. Some of the flowers that I planted were in the form of bulbs that needed to be buried at a certain depth. This tool allowed me to effortlessly make the holes that I needed for the bulbs. Now instead of digging a much bigger hole than I need or trying to drill a hole, I simply line up one of these tools where I want to plant the bulb, lean forward and put my weight on it, and it gives me the perfect hole for planting small bulbs. It really is a time saver.
