Bought this due to the compelling price and many positive reviews. Used the camera since For 1.5 years until it was defective. The performance until its sudden death wasn't bad and i was a happy customer but the way it died made me very concerned. As others have posted that the battery may swell, this is what happened to me. The battery blew up inside my camera while it was turned off and was stored at home at 68F. It took me several minutes of hard shaking of my camera body to get the battery out, which had grown in size due to 'swelling'. I'd be concerned to use this again, will it leak into my camera next time?

When you need a battery, you need one. The price was a good deal.

Hasta el momento considero buen repuesto de batería, no es costosa, se ve bien construida. Entra sin problema en mi cámara Olympus OMD 10 M IVHaré un complemento de la reseña después de al menos 4 recargas.

I ha been using wasabi for many years, I am certain this one will perform well. If not, I will change the review.

Works fine in my camera. Charged as I would expect and fit properly. I may update this as I get more usage experience. At this time I expect to order others from this brand.

It was working wellfor around 4 years and must have recharged over 25 times and has started to bloat. This makes it unable to insert into the camera. The orginsl olympus battery is still doing fine over 7 years now with more than 50 to 60 recharges.

Because these batteries are higher in milli-amp hours than the OEM they can last a longer - a detriment when you are on an all day trip like a safari. However like other reviews mine swelled probably due charging it often and in hot temps.Luckily the folks at Wasabi are extremely responsive and supportive in their customer service. In less than a day they shipped me replacements under warranty. It's nice to know a third party manufacturer that can actually stand behind it's products without a hassle.

This is a reliable battery that lasts as long, if not longer, than the manufacturer original. The Wasabi brand changed my mind about third-party batteries, which in my prior experience have been inferior to the OEMs. I will look to this brand for batteries in the future.January 2016 Update:I haven't experienced any swelling issues with the battery — I'm using only my original Olympus factory charger to charge it so maybe that's why I haven't encountered that particular issue — but I have begun to note that when the battery charge reads half, it just up and dies without warning. The camera cannot be powered on after this happens even though the last-known charge has in every case registered as half full. As soon as the battery drops to half it is best to remove it right away because failure to do so means that any powered lenses will be stuck before they have time to retract, and the battery can also die in the midst of writing the file to the SD card, too, which could potentially corrupt the image (if not the entire chip). With my original E-PL5 Olympus battery, I can take quite a few pictures at the half-charge point and the camera will always allow me to see the icon change from green to red to warn me that it's time to power off. This battery, on the other hand, will continue to read "green" (at half charge) only to die with no further transitions. At this point the battery still takes a charge and I can capture a lot of pictures before I reach the half-way point on the charge but because I can't use it after it reaches the half way point I'm losing about a 1/3 of the useful capacity as opposed to the factory battery that shipped with my camera. Because of this issue I'm taking two stars off my original 5-star review.

I've given it a five-star rating for now, because it seems to charge fully and maintain its charge well. Of course, this is no indicator of how it will hold up over the long term, with many charge/discharge cycles, but it was inexpensive enough to risk, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it holds up.This brand of battery is also one of few that has the extra contact, which as far as I know is for overcharge protection circuitry. Of course, this will also help the life of the battery.

Delivered quickly in perfect condition with tracking. Works perfectly in the PEN E-PL2.I had a PEN-E-PL1 with two batteries and was told by the camera shop when I bought the E-PL2 that the E-PL1 batteries would work in the E-PL2 but they won't. The E-PL2 battery has four contacts and the E-PL1 battery has three. However the E-PL2 batteries work in the E-PL1 camera and the E-PL1 batteries charge in the E-PL2 charger. Just for your information and not related to the quality of the Wasabi Power battery for the PEN E-PL2.The Wasabi Power battery for the PEN E-PL2 looks like it is very well constructed, identical to the original battery and comes with a cover for the contacts unlike the original battery. Charges fine in the charger and works fine in the camera. I highly recommend it.
