For the price this warmer works great. I actually use it to warm a few other things other than drinks. I own two and with a temp guage notice that one puts out 144* Fahrenheit heat, the other puts out 198* Fahrenheit, ...198*F is a bit on the hot side, without any auto shut off I am sure to unplug it after short use as I feel it could be a fire hazard as this particular one gets so hot. I'd recommend that this not be left un-attended.

My normal 10 ounce coffee cup barely fits onto the heated surface, which doesn't get all that warm anyway. I tried plugging it into a wall socket rather than my laptop usb port but tat didn't produce any better result.

Not a very good cup warmer. I returned mine after one use. First of all, it never got hot enough to keep my coffee warm, my coffee cooled off as if I wasn’t using a warmer at all. Also, the warmer is too small, it has a lip/frame that is raised around the top surface and if your mug is too big, it will not even contact the warmer plate because it will be sitting on the frame instead, your cup has to be like a small teacup size to fit; but it doesn’t matter anyway because it won’t keep the cup warm even if it does fit. I would not recommend usb warmers, stick with wall outlet warmers as I think it can get hotter than usb. And it has no on/off switch; you have to unplug usb to turn on/off. No good; don’t recommend this product!

So this is a usb warmer which cannot be expected to warm as well as a plug in one. I knew that going in, but I wanted something to use with my laptop in spots where I wasn't near a plug. I was disappointed that the cord was not interchangable with other usb cords like other devices. The cord is about 3ft long and there's no need for this. Anyone at a desktop will be able to use a PLUG in warmer (which are way better) and they would need length to reach the plug, but why the long cord for a usb warmer that you're going to use right next to your laptop?

Bought this as gift for a friend who is a coffee lover. He was thrilled by it upon receiving it. Perfect gift for a coffee lover as it will be quite useful in keeping his drink warm!

This was by far one of the more ascetically pleasing warmers I came across at a reasonable price. And just like the name says it is a warmer... it will keep you drink just a hair warmer than room temp so this is better for slowing your coffee's cooling process down but it will not keep a drink hot. I use it almost everyday and it helps... it would be nicer if it would keep it a little warmer than what it does tho. So far I've tried metal, ceramic, porcelain, and paper mugs to see if one worked better than the other but it was all about the same.Good for the price but don't expect steam to keep coming out of your drink hours later....

If you are looking for something that will prevent your coffee from getting cold as fast as it would just sitting on your desk, this is for you. If you actually want your coffee to stay hot, buy something else. It would also be nice if it had a switch instead of needing to plug it in when you want it on and unplugging it when you're finished. Aside from it's intended purpose, it does look nice.
