There is a bit of a play and have to check if it supporting the lens throughout the day. Other than that, solid built.

If vertical support is all you need, this is fine. For me, I was hoping for a very tight fit to compensate for the sideways pressure created by a follow focus gear. Unfortunately, this model is not very precisely machined, and wobbles within the casing. Better than nothing, but not what I'd hoped for.
