The calculator I grew up learning trigonometry & calculus on. The used item I purchased had missing rows of pixels. Did a quick internet search on how to repair. Basically, the ribbon connector to the screen is attached with an electric paste/glue that dries and gets brittle over time. Fix was to get warm/hot (but not too hot) soldering iron tip and slowly, gently rub it along where the ribbon cable joins the screen. It's coated in plastic, so the iron tip can't be too hot. This helps warm and reflow the glue. Worked like a champ! The missing lines of pixels on the screen reappeared!

Thus was a used item. I was confident because everything I purchase from Amazon is amazing. This item did ship when it was supposed to and everything they described like blemishes etc. I was fine with all of that. The problem is it didn't work properly the way they said. Well that's the most important thing!!! It would come on, you could barely see the screen. Even with the best batteries. You type on it hit equal and it would die. My kid was very frustrated.

It’s a used item as described, so no surprise or complaint there. However it works just wonderful and saved me about a hundred dollars for a new one. It’s perfect!

This unit of the TI-82 worked beautifully. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was the readability of the screen. Even after adjusting the contrast, reading the numbers took a little getting used to. This might have been a function of this particular unit, because I've worked with TI-83s whose screens were easier to see.

It arrived fast and on schedule great price when compared to the new model. My daughter uses it for school all the time, plus it was a quarter of the price of a new one.Its the last years model. But according to my daughter, its fits all her high school math needs. But if you still want to spend 100 dollars on a new one, I won't judge you. But save your money.

I am in college algebra and this calculator works great. There's no need to have the newer models unless you have to connect to your computer. Be sure to check the individual sellers information so you know if it comes with a batter, cover, and etc.

Very good price, received very quickly, and it works great. No problems at all, in fact - my daughter loves it and all her friends were impressed with the value and some got their parents to order theirs too.

Caculator was ok until I tried to turn it on and the screen was missing in the lower corner. In the future it would be nice if you have products like that to put them in a box surrounded by lots of packing for better protection on the screen. Other than that everything else was good. This calculator was a replacement caculator for my sons school so it had to be in the same condition as the one he had but it wasn't, so I had to return it to the person who sold it to me. The seller was very apologetic and addressed my concerns immediatly and gave me a refund and I thought that was very kind and considerate.
