Way too small to be effective. Poorly made with leftovers from another process. Mine are in the trash if you want them.

If you have tried different ways of opening stuck jars, tapping the lid or attempting some odd motion to break the vacuum seal, take a chance with this jar opener. It has not failed us yet and a great price too!

I opened a few jars, and then the handle could no longer grab the side rail, because the tip of the handle became bent and could no longer reach the rail.

The opener worked but only after some manipulation to attach it to the jar I'm to open. It seemed very loose at first. Disappointed.

I tried several times to open a jar of olives. This contraption simply does not work! When I try to grab the lid of the jar as tightly as I can, it still isn’t tight enough and therefore since it can’t be grabbed onto it will not open. It’s going back.

It takes some thought to learn how to loosen and adjust for various sizes of lids. But, that is what is nice. It fits all sizes just about. Be careful not to squeeze plastic lids too hard. Got this for my wife she was having problem opening jars due to arthritis.
