SRAM RED eTap Rear Derailleur
The SRAM RED eTap rear derailleur executes shifts the instant you demand. Wirelessly. It's easy to set up, clean in appearance and delightfully uncomplicated. Mechanical necessities such as a carbon pulley cage, ceramic pulley bearings, and anodized alloy artfully blend with proprietary electronic advancements to deliver a shifting wonder.

Wireless Electronic Shifting
The SRAM RED eTap Rear Derailleur uses a completely wireless communication protocol to receive shift commands from the eTap shifters
The eTap system features an intuitive shifting logic where the right shifter moves the chain to a harder gear, the left shifter moves it to an easier gear, and pressing both shifters simultaneously shifts the front derailleur. The derailleur is part of the AXS (pronounced “access”) ecosystem, allowing it to connect with other AXS components and be managed through the AXS app. This app enables customization of shifting settings, monitoring battery status, and firmware updates.
- SRAM’s Orbit technology uses a fluid damper to control the movement of the derailleur cage
- Providing chain stability without additional resistance. This helps to reduce chain bounce and maintain drivetrain performance on rough terrain

WiFLi
WiFLi technology allows for the use of wider range cassettes, typically with larger sprockets than standard road bike cassettes.

- SRAM WiFLi technology is compatible with SRAM’s 10-speed and 11-speed road drivetrains
X-Sync
A technology developed by SRAM for their chainrings, primarily used in mountain biking but also found in some road cycling applications.
