Setting up the app took a little bit of understanding setting up the device with relatively simple once we worked out issues with my data plan takes a while to connect but was connected seems to be solid performance is good as good as my phone running is a hotspot so it does its job and allows multiple devices without using up my phone battery

I work in a hybrid environment and that 1 day a week without an effective WIFI is a Nightmare. Now that I have my Portable, International, pay as you go excellent connection. I connect my laptop, iPad and even my cell. It allows up to 6 devices and some days, I share with a co-worker. It fits in my purse and can be concealed very well. Perfect for a Fanny Pack on my Starbucks days. Buy it! It's cheaper and safer in the long run.

Lo acabo de comprar, puede probarlo en México con los datos gratis que trae incluidos, aunque tuve problemas al inicio para que me apareciera el plan de datos gratuito incluido. Me apareció después de iniciar sesión en el portal de Solis y después de chatear con un asesor a través del chat de la aplicación, me indicaron que lo viera en la opción My Plan, y mágicamente apareció, ya que de inicio decía que no tenía un plan activo. Anteriormente había usado el servicio con un hotspot igual de un amigo, lo usamos en Turquía y en Polonia, y nos fue muy útil. Y antes de eso nos lo había recomendado otro amigo que también lo usa en viajes. Lo calificó con 4, aunque en realidad me he sentido satisfecho con el servicio, porque los planes son algo caros, por lo que lo recomiendo solo para viajes, no para sustituir tu plan de internet en casa, y en el caso de los planes por tiempo, por ejemplo el mensual, te da 20 GB con buena velocidad, pero después de eso, aunque sigues teniendo internet, se vuelve muy lento. Una de sus ventajas es que tiene servicio en muchos países, por lo que es ideal en viajes, sobre todo si visitas más de un país, en vez de estar comprando y cambiando sim’s para tu teléfono, y puedes conectar varios dispositivos simultáneamente.

I really like the unit, but I ordered it with 100 GB which is $1 per GB and sort of justifies the $100 price increase. That is still $20 more per GB than you pay when you reload. They changed the description in the middle of my transaction, so I only received 10 GB. This is going back! I HATE being ripped off!

Great product. Worked flawlessly throughout Japan. And it even worked in the Bahamas which isn’t listed on the vendor coverage areas. Unit does get warm after several hours of use. It charges quickly too. Would definitely recommend for anyone planning on traveling the world. Price of global per gb package is a little pricey so hopefully those prices will come down in the future.

I took this to Sweden a couple of weeks ago and tested it out. I was impressed by how quickly it connected and the performance in terms of both speed and stability of my Internet connection. While I was not able to run a full video conference without issues I was able to connect to all of the international servers and pull data back-and-forth while also connecting through Teams audio.Update: 1/28/24 I have used this on multiple international trips with similar reliable experiences but I’ve also used it in the US when my normal carrier’s signal or network was not fast enough. It connects quickly each time and the battery life is fantastic.

I have no regrets purchasing this, so I think it will come in handy in a variety of situations when we travel. I would caution to not assume that you can get a connection if you’re in a very desolate area. We were in a section of France that had absolutely no reception, and while it did pick up some far away signal, we still struggled for good service.

I just used this product on a 16-day tour of Bulgaria, Serbia, and Romania. I connected it to my devices before leaving home, so while overseas, all I had to do was turn it on and it was instantly connected. It connected everywhere I tried it including some very rural areas where I was skeptical that it would work. I only had limited international data on my phone, so I just slipped this compact device into my pocket, turned it on, and used Wi-Fi while I was out and about for maps, social media, etc. The battery life was outstanding, one thing I have found is a problem with using my iPhone as a Wi-Fi hotspot. Highly recommended for international travel!
