Tested at 2 miles with obstructions, turns etc and reception transmission is clear. Battery power holds for 2+ days with minimal transmission. Only negative is one radio VOX is not very sensitive...

Bought these to use on some property we have where cell coverage is poor. I am very impressed with how easy it was to set them up and they work great. Voice comes through clear and consistently over an area of 240 acres. They’re compact but feel solid, not toy-like. I’m happy, just hoping they will hold up.

Sounds clear and super easy to use. Very loud, if you turn the volume all the way up, and whisper quiet at it's minimum volume.In a dense, suburban environment with lots of 1-2 story houses,power lines, and heavy traffic, it gets about half a mile before it cuts out completely. Not sure about wide open spaces, forest, or mountainous terrain yet.

My son races motorcycles in hare scrambles. The radios work great for keeping in touch with him in case he has trouble on the track. Also for words of "encouragement" to keep him on his toes. Excellent sound quality, range and battery life.
