The product itself is good quality, but it doesnt serve the purpose mentioned. It doesn't make soft rotis or tortillas as expected, but instead makes crispy rotis/tortillas or Khakhras. Most of the times the rotis crack. I have tried following the instructions provided and also tried tricks from user reviews but still the machine wouldn't make soft rotis. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this with the hope of making soft rotis within seconds in this machine.

We purchased this flatbread maker in the beginning of Jan 2021, and by mid-feb, right after the 30 day return deadline, the non-stick surface just wasn't "non-stick" anymore. We approached the seller to see if they would address the issue of the bread sticking to the surface, and we were promptly turned away given the 30 day return policy had elapsed. No other resolution was offered.Overall, when the product was working, the heat was not great, and we had to supplement on a traditional stove pan to "top off". So in my view it doesn't alleviate the need for a traditional pan, rather it just shortens the duration you have the cook the bread on the pan. However, all of that said, the product is not durable so no point in shelling out the money unless you have some to burn on something that will stop working after 30-40 days. It is effectively a brick now and we are out the money.Would be a 2-3 star product if the non-stick part still worked. 1 star or no star is reasonable given it will only last you 30-40 days after buying brand new.

It takes forever to make a proper roti.Great for wrap making though - which does not need to be fluffy. It is basically a hand press with warmer.Could be helpful to make round luchi, kachori etc. By hand it takes the same time - hence, dont understand why we need the warmer then

I have been using it serveral times a week. It works wonderfully. If it last and keeps working it will be far one of my best purchases. It saves money making tacos myself. The price for 8 to 10 tacos purchased from the store 2.50. I make 10 for under a dollar. Best part I know the ingredients and can pronounce them.

This is perfect product for making rotis or tortillas but we can't expect much though. All we have to do is make soft dough and make 1" size dough balls and press them like slices with hand add small oil to every slice both sides before you put on the nonstick surface of the roti maker.First roti maker has to start 2 minutes before, in medium temp. After 2 minutes green light will come then put this dough slice and press gently .Screech sound will come ,then release the press and some steam will come out, after a minute take out this roti out of this maker and we have to make fully on fry pan before eating.or preserve in refrigerator. If we don't expect fully cooked rotis with this ,this is a best roti maker .

I read the review for this product on Amazon. Lindsey who is one of the 2 reviewers of this product actually had posted a video of the product usage and I was very much convinced by that. I thought the product is good and ordered it immediately. The product arrived in 4-5 days and was in good condition. The most important problem with the roti maker is1. the roti/tortilla is not cooked properly. It remains very much uncooked. Even though you see it puff and everything from the inside it remains uncooked which actually causes a lot of acidity problems.2. Also such an uncooked tortilla when left for a few minutes becomes very dry and difficult to eat. You have to eat the tortilla immediately within 10-15 minutes of the making.Just imagine if you are making 5-7 tortillas the first one will be come dry and difficult to chew.3. The product works as described but the tortillas are not at all good for health since they remain uncooked in the inside.
