This 3 piece set comes with a jar opener, a bottle opener, and a wine opener. The jar opener was not very effective. It has metal teeth on one side and the other side is smooth metal. It just basically spins around on a metal lid. It did work on a plastic lid that had some ridges the metal teeth could "grab" onto, but the majority of the jars that are hard to open are the metal ones, like pickles and pasta sauce, etc. The bottle/cap opener worked fine, and the wine opener/corkscrew worked, but it's fairly basic. I mainly got this for the jar opener though, and I would not recommend for that part of the set.

I got this Readaeer jar opener kit because my wife often struggles with stubborn lids, and it has been absolutely perfect for her. She used to have such a hard time, but this set makes opening everything from jars to bottles incredibly easy now. It's truly a multi functional tool that has made a noticeable difference in our kitchen. If you or someone you know has difficulty with tight caps, this opener kit is definitely a fantastic solution.

This set of Openers is terrific. There are 3 openers included: a jar opener, a bottle opener, and a wine opener.The wine opener and the bottle opener are nice. Standard quality. The Jar Opener is the real standout item for me here.It has a v shaped design with little metal teeth in it. It is quick and easy to fit this over the lid of a jar and twist. It takes very little effort to pop the jar open.Exactly what I was hoping for! Terrific kitchen set!

My mom watched my kids a lot and has trouble opening things with her dimensioned grip strength. I keep these around and she can get nearly everything open. Their size and ease of use have been just what she needed to get things open without too much struggle and discomfort.

This is a disappointment that I wish I had not ordered. The large jar opener, which is the only reason I ordered this, does not work on metal lids which are the main type that sometimes need extra leverage to open. You are better off looking at alternatives among Amazon's excellent selection. I will update this review if needed based on further experience.

The corkscrew and the small bottle opener thing work fine. But the jar opener does not work at all. All it managed to do was scratch the paint off my lid. It doesn't even grab onto the lid at all. The teeth in the large opener are small metal with no silicone or rubber grips so all it does is slide around the lid.

I am quite impressed with both of these devices, the jar opener, and the bottle opener. They said also comes with a corkscrew/cap opener, which worked fine.The large jar opener has 2 “V” shaped mechanisms to fit almost any size jar! This design feature really impressed me, because previous jar openers. I’ve had only had one size. This is great, because it can accommodate some very very large jars, which is some thing I need. It grips the jar lid sufficiently and opens it with a twist.The bottle, cap, opener, or some thing I didn’t realize even existed and I absolutely love it. I sometimes struggle opening bottles of carbonated beverages. This makes it so very easy, it is sized perfectly, and makes opening a stubborn bottle with a twist top effortless!!This is a must have set for people like me who struggle with opening certain types of containers. It makes life so much easier when you can just pick it up out of the kitchen drawer and open jars and bottles without having to ask someone for help. I’m really happy with both of these.

I ordered this mainly because I have tremendous trouble with opening jars. Although I do not have arthritis, I have abnormally weak hands and the muscles in my arms have slowly degraded. Right now, I’m lucky enough that whenever I have a jar I can’t open, I just hand it to my father and he pops it open for me. However, I know I won’t always have that luxury.I was extremely disappointed that the jar opener was highly ineffective. I used it to try to open up a jar of nacho cheese sauce, and all it did was scratch up the lid. I hit the base and sides of the jar to try to release air and make it easier to open, but still no dice. As someone who doesn’t even have arthritis, it is concerning that I couldn’t get this to work while attempting with all my might. I asked my mother to try using the tool as well and she couldn’t get the jar open, and she does not have any problems with her strength or physical ability. If we cannot get it to work, how could the target consumer?I haven’t had the need to use the other tools, so I cannot speak to their efficacy. The only thing I can say is that the jar opener didn’t open anything for me.

I got this set because I have trouble opening jars sometimes, and figured it would be useful for opening cans and bottles too. The can/bottle opener has a bit of cushioning and works great on opening pop cans. However, you would need to know that the bottom of this tool has a slit for this purpose. The decal showing the different functions is very small, and therefore not easy to see and understand... especially for older eyes. Unfortunately, the bottle opener part of this tool only works for large bottles - it doesn't work on water bottles, or smaller bottle sizes that a senior would be more likely to have.Thr jar opener concept is good, in that it uses leverage and the V-shape means it can fit any sized jar. It has teeth along one side of the V for grip, which could be a safety hazard. If the tool slips off the top of the jar, and your fingers are close by, you could injure yourself. I wouldn't use this on really tight jars to get them open. It would be useful for someone with arthritis that needs the tool because gripping a jar is difficult - i.e. not much force is needed to open the jar just some assistance with the physical movement.The wine opener is like any other fold up wine opener. It doesn't have anything special that would help someone with arthritis or who was a senior. This didn't need to be included in the set in my opinion.Overall, this set is OK. It provides some functionality, but for me personally it takes up too much space in my drawer for what I get out of it. If the bottle opener could open different size bottles, that tool would definitely be worth purchasing. The set will be useful to some people, but there are some improvements needed.
